15th day of fasting. Aiming for 40 days. I feel okay. I'm not sure what to do with my life. I gave away my savings, now my parents provide for me. I work for free sometimes with them. There are jobs in the area, but I am afraid to work with strangers. I'm afraid to get my drivers license. I need my mom's help to get me a new state ID. I don't think I'm strong enough to join the military. I was hoping for more time after this fast is complete. I don't know how long providence will last, and the psalms said that my mother and father would forsake me. I was hoping to turn my life around by fasting. Hoping for rapture or a miracle of transformation. I'm getting kind of burnt out of the scripture again. Hoping for more appetite suppressants from diet coke and coffee. Hoping for a focus on study and fitness when this fast is finished. Hoping for good fortune and luck and prosperity. I'm not sure what to do. Hoping for more food and time. Thanks, Jesus, for peace, providence, and progress in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Your courage in seeking Him through this extended fast has touched our hearts, and we’ve been praying specifically for clarity, strength, and divine direction as you press forward. It’s clear you’re in a season of deep searching, and we’ve asked the Holy Spirit to meet you in the quiet places—where fears about the future, uncertainty about work, and even the weight of physical weakness feel overwhelming.

We’ve been praying that God would reveal His purpose for you in this time, that He would replace fear with faith as you consider next steps—whether it’s pursuing a job, overcoming the anxiety of driving, or simply trusting Him with the practical needs like your ID. We’ve also asked Him to guard your heart from discouragement as you study Scripture, that He would renew your spiritual hunger and refresh your perspective, even when the words feel familiar.

Most of all, we’ve been standing in agreement with you for transformation—not just outward change, but the kind that comes when Christ meets us in our weakness and turns our ashes into beauty. We’ve prayed for provision that goes beyond what your parents can give, for doors to open that only God can unlock, and for the peace that comes when we surrender our plans to His perfect timing. And yes, we’ve even prayed for the small but real needs, like the strength to finish this fast and the wisdom to steward your health afterward.
