Swollen legs, feet

We join you together in prayer for healing from the swelling in your legs and feet and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to come before the Father.
We are reminded of the compassion of our Lord who heals us, as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and also, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. Our hope is in Him who bore our infirmities, for it is written, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see the discomfort and swelling in their legs and feet and You know every cause. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Lord, reduce the swelling, restore proper circulation and function, ease any pain or heaviness, and bring complete restoration according to Your will. We pray that You would grant wisdom to any doctors or caregivers involved and guide them to the right treatment. Strengthen faith and grant peace while waiting upon Your healing, and help this dear one to rest in Your care. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord as your healer, for He is Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26. We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you have not already, for God often works through the knowledge and care of physicians, and to continue to bring your needs before Him in prayer. As it is written, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:14-15. We stand with you believing for the Lord to touch your body and to give you comfort and strength each day.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about the swelling in your legs and feet. We can imagine how uncomfortable and tiring that must be, especially when it makes standing, walking, or resting more difficult. We are glad you reached out so we can stand with you.
We are joining you in asking the Lord for healing and for daily comfort and strength. Alongside prayer, we gently encourage you to let your doctor or other medical provider know about this swelling soon if you have not already, so they can evaluate you and guide your care. We will keep praying as you get that support.
We believe God sees you and cares about what you are carrying. You are not alone in this, and He hears you when you call on Him through Jesus. We are holding you before Him and trusting His care for you in the days ahead.
Father, in Jesus name we lift our friend to You. You see this swelling and the discomfort it brings. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch, for relief, and for wisdom for any providers caring for them. Give peace, rest, and strength for each day, and draw near with Your presence. We trust You with what is needed most. In Jesus name, amen.
We are continuing to pray for you. Please keep us updated on how you are doing.

Beloved of All
We have heard your request concerning swollen legs and feet and we bring your case before the Lord who is our heavenly Physician.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. So we do well to use the means which Providence affords, and at the same time to tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus, lay this affliction at His feet and leave it in His presence, for there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.
Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we seek both for you, forgiveness and favor through His blood, and mercy for the body.
We pray for you now. O Lord our God, look upon this suffering one whose legs and feet are swollen and pained. Thou who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, be pleased to lay Thy healing hand upon this body. Thou knowest our frame and hast compassion upon our infirmities. If it be Thy will, give relief from swelling and pain, restore strength to the limbs and ease to the steps, and grant wisdom to those who give care. Above all, cause this affliction to draw the heart to lie at Jesus feet, where pardon and healing flow together from the great conduit Head, from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Let faith come by hearing Thy Word, and let the healing power which was present when Christ was teaching be present now to comfort and to cure.
We commend you to Him who will in no wise cast out any that come to Him, trusting that whether He grants swift healing or sustaining grace, He will do that which is best and most for His glory. May you prove His love and find Him to be your strength and righteousness, your Jesus and your all.
We will continue to bear you up before the throne, asking the Lord to grant you healing according to His perfect will, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Beloved of All
We lift up your need before the Lord and ask for His mercy and healing upon your legs and feet. God formed every part of the body and He sees and cares for each member, and no part is forgotten by Him. Even the feet which may seem less honored are deeply valued and cared for by Him and by the whole body.
We pray now for you. Father in heaven we thank You that You are the great physician and that You sent Your Son Jesus who showed Your healing care. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch this body, reduce the swelling, restore ease in walking and standing, and bring comfort and strength. Grant wisdom to any doctors or caregivers, guide them to find the cause and the right treatment, and grant peace and patience as You work. Above all we ask that Your presence would be near and that Your grace would sustain each day.
We encourage you to continue to seek appropriate medical care while trusting the Lord, to rest as you are able, and to keep bringing your needs to Him in prayer. We are praying with you for complete healing and for His peace to guard your heart in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this need and allowing us to pray with you for the swelling in your legs and feet. We bring your physical suffering to the Lord who sees and cares about our bodies.
Scripture shows us that healing is part of what Jesus accomplished. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and carrying our pains, and Matthew under the guidance of the Holy Spirit applies that promise directly to physical healing when he describes Jesus healing all who were brought to Him. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to a work that touches both our spiritual forgiveness and our physical restoration. It is right for us to come to Him for bodily healing and to ask in faith.
At the same time the Bible keeps us from presuming that God wills to heal in the same way in every case. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh, that messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord did not remove it. We are also taught that gifts of healing are given by the Spirit as He wills, and the question is asked, do all have gifts of healing, with the expected answer no. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, including why some are healed quickly and others are not, and why some healings are immediate while others are gradual. There is only one recorded instance where Jesus healed in stages, which reminds us that He works in different ways.
We do believe strongly in healing. Sometimes the Lord heals instantly by His miraculous power, which He used freely to meet the needs of others. Sometimes He heals gradually, and sometimes He heals through the ordinary processes He has built into our bodies. Those natural processes are still divine, because He created nature and its laws. He also cares for the whole person, bringing health to the body, peace to the mind and emotions, and life to the spirit.
So we pray for you now with confidence and with trust in His wisdom and love.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one who is troubled by swollen legs and feet. You know the cause of this swelling and the discomfort it brings. We ask that You would touch this body with Your healing power. If it be Your will, bring relief quickly, reduce the swelling, restore strength and ease in walking and standing. Where healing comes through Your natural processes, guide wisdom for care and treatment and bless those processes to work. Give peace of mind and heart while waiting, and draw this heart closer to Jesus, who bore our sins and our sicknesses. We trust Your goodness whether Your answer is immediate, gradual, or in a way we do not expect, and we rest in Your love. In Jesus name, amen.
