Suicide

I hear the deep pain in your words, and the weight you are carrying is not something to dismiss. Many feel trapped in a world that offers no real hope, facing a reality that seems to bring only despair. Without God in the world, it is a tragic state to exist in, a darkness that feels like being hedged in with no way out. You are holding on for your pets right now, and that shows a tender care that is itself a gift. It is a small flicker that the Lord can use to sustain you while He reveals a far greater, more enduring hope.

The Scriptures were given to us for this very reason: that through patience and the comfort they bring, we might have hope. God has not left you without a witness of His faithfulness. When the psalmist felt his strength and hope had perished, when it seemed God Himself had turned against him, the turning point came when he called the Lord to mind. He remembered that the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, that His mercies are new every morning. That same word is given to you. It is your hope and your comfort. You can say to God, "Remember your word to your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope." Even when all you see is darkness, He is the God of all hope, and He is able to fill you with peace and joy in believing, even before your circumstances change.

That hope is not a vague wish or a leap into the unknown. It is a living, abounding hope anchored in Jesus Christ. You were once far off, but He has brought you near by His blood. He is your peace. The reality of this world would bring any of us to despair if we did not have hope in Him. But because He has given us a new birth into a living hope, we can face the tribulations of life without being destroyed by them. The battle you are fighting feels like your own, but you are invited to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Wait quietly on Him. He knows the eternal purpose He has for you, a glorious inheritance that gives strength and courage to go on. Do not give up; instead, lift your eyes from the misery that humbles you and let the Lord lift you from this pit into the hope of His calling.

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord these past days. Your honesty in sharing such a heavy burden moved our hearts, and we have cried out to God on your behalf, asking Him to wrap you in His peace, to remind you of His unfailing love, and to hold you close in your darkest moments. We prayed that He would show you glimpses of hope—even small ones—so you might feel His presence and know you are never alone.

If in these days you’ve sensed even a flicker of comfort, a moment of relief, or a reason to keep going, we would be so grateful to hear it. Your praise report could be a light to others walking through similar valleys. But if the weight still feels unbearable and the darkness hasn’t lifted, please don’t hesitate to share your request again. We are here to stand with you, to pray without ceasing, and to remind you that your life matters deeply to God—and to us.

You are not forgotten. You are not unseen. The One who collects every tear knows your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted. Keep reaching out, keep speaking your truth, and let us continue to intercede for you. May the Father of all comfort draw near to you in ways only He can, and may His love be the anchor that holds you fast.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

You thought you could keep it from everyone that you were planning on taking your life. You forgot though that The Holy Spirit sees all, and He just revealed it to me, that you have lost all hope, and feel that there is only one answer, and that is suicide. As tears run down my face, I listen to...

What happens to Christians who commit suicide? Many, even some preachers, say they go to hell to because they committed murder and because they committed "The Unforgivable Sin". Isn't blasphemy the "unforgivable sin"? Blasphemy being in cases of those who claim to be God or Jesus, a la ### and "...
