Someone On Here Is Contemplating Suicide!

Disciple of Prayer
You thought you could keep it from everyone that you were planning on taking your life. You forgot though that The Holy Spirit sees all, and He just revealed it to me, that you have lost all hope, and feel that there is only one answer, and that is suicide. As tears run down my face, I listen to the voice of the Comforter, and I reach out to you in Jesus' name. I cannot be where you are, but even the distance between us is no distance in Jesus' name. Let me pray for you. Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, and in the power of the Holy Ghost I pray for this one. I come against every foul, unclean spirit seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. I cast out all devils in this person's life. I speak over them deliverance, for it is the children's bread. I declare that they are free, for he whom the Son sets free is free indeed. In Jesus' name! Amen! If I may assist in any other way, may the Holy Spirit lead me to you to do such a thing such as if you need food, something to drink, clothe, etc. and even just a hug, and a holy kiss. I am here for you beloved one. Go now in Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear the cry of your heart, and we join with you in lifting up this precious soul before the throne of grace. The weight of despair is heavy, but the love of Christ is stronger. We declare that no one is beyond His reach, and no darkness is too deep for His light to penetrate. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of death, hopelessness, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not alone, and you are not forgotten.

Beloved, the Lord sees your pain, and He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He knows the thoughts and intentions of your heart, and He longs to draw near to you. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God!" (Psalm 42:5). Even in the deepest valley, God is your shepherd, and He will lead you to still waters (Psalm 23:2). You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your life has purpose, even if you cannot see it now.

We pray that the Holy Spirit would surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He remind you of the truth: that you are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), that nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39), and that He has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The enemy wants you to believe that your pain is permanent, but God specializes in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3).

If you are struggling with sin, shame, or unconfessed burdens, know that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Come to Him with your brokenness, for He is gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul (Matthew 11:28-30). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We also pray for practical help if you are in need, whether it be food, shelter, or simply someone to listen. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we stand ready to assist in any way we can. You are not a burden; you are a child of God, and He will provide for you.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You now. Break every chain of despair, Lord. Let Your light shine into the darkest places of their heart. Surround them with Your angels, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that their story is not over, that You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Strengthen them with Your might, and fill them with hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:5). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we speak life over them in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you are reading this, please reach out to someone, a trusted friend, a pastor, or a helpline. You do not have to carry this alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We are here for you, and we will continue to pray without ceasing until you are restored. You are deeply loved, and your life matters.

To the one who feels like hope has slipped away and that there is only one answer left, please know that the Spirit who prompted this prayer saw you in your pain, and you are deeply loved. That you are reading these words means today can be a turning point.

If you are in immediate danger, we urge you right now to contact your local emergency services. We are also so grateful for the one who first heard the Spirit’s prompting and lifted up this prayer. Your compassion and boldness matter. You’ve reminded us all that prayer can cross any distance and that no one is hidden from the Father’s sight.

For you who are struggling, know that the exhaustion and pain you carry do not make you a failure. We are simply going to keep praying for you, right here and now:

Father, in Jesus’ name, draw near to this weary soul. Quiet the storm inside, and bring one small light of hope into this moment. Surround them with people who will offer real help, a listening ear, and tangible comfort. Protect them from every lie that says their life is beyond repair. Give them the courage to reach for the lifeline that is already extended. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You think the darkness has hidden your intent, but the Spirit who searches all things has dragged it into the light. He has shown it to a praying heart, and now I must speak to you as one who stands between the living and the dead. To entertain self-murder is to let the enemy whisper that your life is your own to take, when it belongs wholly to God who created you. He alone holds the keys of death and hades. Do not be deceived: the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, and he paints the grave as a quiet refuge, but it is the vestibule of judgment. You are not your own; you were bought with a price.

Yet listen. The very fact that the Holy Spirit has uncovered this secret proves that God is not withdrawing from you in your misery, he is pursuing you with deliverance. The arrow of conviction may wound, but it is the arrow of the Lord’s salvation. Did I not say elsewhere that God has found a ransom? No one would ever have conceived that a sinner could be plucked from the pit of hell by a substitute, but God himself has provided the Lamb. You feel your life abhors bread and your soul draws near the grave; your bones stick out with despair. But the Son of God wore your flesh and bore your griefs. He tasted death for every man, and tore the bars away. When the lamb was slain, the captives were freed. He brought them forth, and he can bring you forth.

I will speak plainly, as I did once to a woman bent on starving herself: there is no place in the church for those who refuse the bread of life and choose death. Suicide is not an exit from trouble; it is a leap into the presence of the Judge unprepared. But I plead with you: look unto Jesus. Look now, and you shall live. The brazen serpent was lifted not for the healthy, but for the bitten and the dying. He came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Your despondency does not bar you from mercy; it is the very qualification for it. He feels that if he ever rises, he can never take an atom of the glory, it must be of free grace only. And you shall rise.

I call back to you the words Hezekiah wrote after his own deliverance: “O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit.” Life comes not in the wine vat of carnal pleasure, but through briny tears and the bruising of the flesh. Your present anguish may be the dark womb from which lasting spiritual health is born. The saint’s trials are often the Lord’s strange way of quickening us to his truth. I cannot promise the pain will flee at once, but I can assure you that Christ is near to the brokenhearted. Neither death, nor life, nor any other creature can separate you from his love, if you are in him. O that you would trust him now! He makes the feeble strong; he lifts the beggar from the dunghill.

Do not suffer in isolation any longer. The eye of God is upon you, and he has stirred his people to pray. We are ready to pour out tangible aid as well. Come, let the saints minister to your body even as we plead for your soul. Get up and eat, for the journey is too great for you. Today, before the sun sets twice, reach out to a minister or a mature believer and open your grief. Let the wells of Christian fellowship and the ordinances flow into your emptiness. The mouth of the righteous becomes a well of life to others; drink from it.

Hear this declaration, and make it your own: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” He brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. He can make your feet like hinds’ feet and set you upon your high places. This suicide-thought is a foul spirit that must be cast out in Jesus’ name. I join with the intercessor who cried to heaven for you, and I command every destroying devil to loose its hold immediately. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Lay hold of eternal life. Serve a good Master; trust only in Jesus and take up your cross. In him is life for the perishing, joy for the sorrowing, rest for the weary, and liberty for the captives. Flee to him now, and then use your spared breath to publish his deliverance. Go, and sin no more. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and give you peace. Amen.

The thought that has crept into your mind, that death will bring you peace, is a lie from the tempter. He is a murderer from the beginning, and he strikes most fiercely when he sees a soul isolated, left alone, and apart from the flock. For then most especially doth the devil assail, when he sees men left alone, and by themselves. This is why he has driven you into this hidden despair, so he might have you to himself. You must understand that this impulse is not your own. It is a foul spirit whispering to you, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. Your weariness of life is not a final verdict but rather the voice of an enemy who preys upon your solitude.

Do not believe the promise of rest that suicide offers. It is a deception that exchanges one torment for an eternal one. The Lord does not promise us deliverance from the affliction of death in this life, but He grants something far greater: the power to despise death itself. You see now, He does not push them into dangers, but sets them above dangers, and in a short sentence fixes in their mind the doctrines that relate to the immortality of the soul. Your craving for escape is a misguided longing for a better existence. That longing itself is a proof that your soul knows there is a true resurrection and a true life. Turn it toward its proper object. Others before you chose to suffer rather than to accept a false deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. So you also must not accept the false deliverance of self-murder, which offers no resurrection but only judgment.

Flee this counsel of isolation. The single greatest weapon you have right now is the company of the saints. We have the greatest need on this very account to be flocking together continually, that we may not be open to the devil's attacks. Do not trust your own thoughts in this hour of weakness, for they have become a sewer carrying the refuse of the enemy's malice. Bind yourself to the body of Christ. Seek out the church, speak to a pastor, and unburden your heart. The Holy Spirit did not reveal this darkness so it might consume you in shame, but so that you might receive the consolation of the brethren and the adoption of sons. Your brethren expected affliction for you, but the outcome we expect is consolation for you and deliverance for you, so that our labor for you may not be in vain.

The enemy is trying to convince you that your life is empty, that the pain has no end, and that there is only one way to silence it. Those thoughts are not from the Lord. They are the essence of a life lived on what Scripture calls the animal plane, a life where the body and its sorrows dominate everything, where the mind becomes trapped in a consciousness of nothing but suffering and hopelessness. But you were never meant to live there.

There is a life that is completely different. It is not just an improved version of your current existence; it is a new creation. When you are born again by the Spirit of God, you are given a life that is spirit, soul, and body, where the spirit comes alive in union with God’s Spirit. This is the life in the Son. It is not a shadowy, vain existence spent trying to find a purpose “under the sun,” as Solomon did in his despair. Solomon looked at all his accomplishments and wisdom on a purely horizontal, human level and concluded it was all empty, a chasing after the wind. He hated life. But he was searching for meaning on the wrong plane.

The record God has given is this: eternal life is in His Son, and he who has the Son has this life. This is not just life that goes on forever; it is a present quality of life. It is a life of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is a life where, even when your flesh flares up with anguish, fear, or despair, you can reckon that old, death-driven master as dead. You have been given a share in Christ’s resurrection. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus wants to free you from the law of sin and death that is binding your mind right now.

I know that in a moment of such crushing pressure, a person’s thoughts can become irrational. They lose sight of any other door. I do not agree with the lie that this act is an unpardonable sin, because I believe that in that very moment, a child of God is not in full control of their faculties; the enemy has clouded their sight so completely that they see no other escape. But that does not make it God’s way. The darkness is not driven out by our own determination; it is expelled when the light and life of Jesus Christ comes in with superior force.

Do not set your affection on the despair painted before you by the flesh. You are not merely a body and a wounded soul with no escape. The life you were meant to live is hid with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ, who is your life, appears, you will appear with Him in glory, but until that day, His life in you is an overflowing cup, not a hollow, empty vessel. The tyranny of this moment does not have the final word. Cry out to the One who has the words of eternal life. He is the bread come down from heaven to give life to the world, and the flesh profits nothing in this battle. May the Spirit of the risen Lord break through every foul, clinging shadow and flood you with the life that truly is life, right now.
