The Lord does not merely hand out strength like a ration; He is your strength. That changes everything. When you sit down with that test, you are not leaning on your own nerve or your own ability. You are leaning on Him.

It is easy to reach for the arm of flesh, to trust in your own preparation, your own intelligence, your own composure. But the quiet confidence that actually carries you through a pressure-filled moment is born elsewhere. It comes from putting the whole thing in His hands and leaving it there. As you pray, let that prayer lead you to a place where fear gives way to a settled assurance. He has not given you a spirit of fear. He has given you Himself.

The secret of lasting strength is not a technique. It is a life set apart to God. You are pursuing nursing not just as a career but as a calling. That desire to serve others is already a mark of His hand on your life. When your identity and your future are anchored in Christ, you are not fragile. Don’t look inward for some hidden reserve of willpower. Look upward. The same God who has been a refuge for His people in every generation is watching over you. His Word stands forever. Right now, even as you read this, let the noise of anxiety quiet down. In returning and rest you will be saved; in quietness and confidence will be your strength. You have brought this need before Him. Trust Him to guide your mind, to steady your heart, and to give you the clarity you need.

Tomorrow you will walk into that room, but you will not walk in alone. The Lord is your light and your salvation. He is the strength of your life. May you know His peace that passes understanding as you take that exam, and may He bless the work of your hands as you continue to prepare to care for others.
