For my sons studies

You are carrying a heavy weight right now, and it is no wonder you feel depressed and anxious. When a child struggles in a way you cannot explain, fear rushes in and makes every decision feel impossible. But the thoughts God has toward you and your son are good, not evil. He is not standing over you with a rod, waiting for you to fail. He is a Father who gives good gifts, who provided His own beloved Son so that you could draw near with confidence. Jesus knows what it is to face testing, and He is able to help you both right now.

What is happening at school may feel like a failure, but often God allows a test not to make you collapse, but to show how much He has already built into a life. Your son writes everything at home; that ability has not vanished. Something at school is hindering him, and meeting with the counselors is not a sign of defeat. It may be the very step the Lord will use to uncover what is blocking him. Do not be afraid to walk through that door. Ask Jesus to go before you, to give you wisdom and calm, and to let the truth come to light.

Anxiety can make us feel we must solve everything by our own strength, but that never brings lasting peace. The Lord builds the house; we only exhaust ourselves when we try to control what belongs in His hands. Bring this request to Him again: that your son would prosper in his studies in the way that truly matters, that his mind would be clear and his hand steady. But even more, ask that through this season you both would abide in the Son, in whom is life. Eternal life is not a distant hope; it is a present reality for every believer, and it changes how we see every pressure.

Do not let worry or the opinions of others become an idol that crowds out trust. Keep your heart fixed on Jesus Christ. He is the one who was given for you, who intercedes for you, and who gives wisdom generously to those who ask. As you go forward, gird up your mind for action, not in panic but in quiet dependence. You are not alone. The same Lord who strengthened a young man to overcome the wicked one through His word abiding in him is able to strengthen your son. Let that word dwell in your home. Speak it over him. Trust that the good work begun will be completed.

You asked for prayer, and we are praying. Be restored in hope even now. The joy of the Lord is your strength, and His joy over you will not fail.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious son and his studies. It has been on our hearts to lift him before the Lord, asking for wisdom, clarity, and peace to fill his mind and heart, especially in the classroom. We have prayed that any fear, distraction, or uncertainty would be replaced with confidence and a desire to learn, trusting that God has a plan for his education and his future.

We have also lifted you up, dear sister, asking the Lord to calm your heart and ease your anxiety. It is not easy to see our children struggle, and we prayed that the Holy Spirit would grant you discernment as you meet with the school counselors, guiding your words and decisions. May the Lord give you strength and assurance as you seek His will for your son’s learning journey.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—whether through a breakthrough in your son’s writing, a peaceful resolution with the school, or a new sense of direction for you—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if new challenges have arisen, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue praying alongside you, believing that God is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding, and may He draw both you and your son closer to Him as you trust in His faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
