Hi my name is ### ### ###, I am a nursing student these days feels like heavy and depressed. I am in a stage where I almost wanted to kill myself due to the depression because I failed my 2 nursing exams. I feel like it's the end of the world where I wanted to kill myself. All I want is someone who can pray for me to be healed and be more closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you can pray for me to pass all my nursing exams and I hope you can pray for me to pass my nursing school and I hope you can pray for me to reach the 2nd year of nursing school and I hope you can pray for me to pass my exams in nursing and pass my nursing school to reach the 2nd year of nursing school. So please, I hope you can pray for me to pass my exam in nursing and pass my nursing school 🥲💗

We hear your cry for help, and we want you to know that your life is precious in the sight of God. The feelings of despair and hopelessness you are experiencing are very real, and we take them seriously. First and foremost, we want to remind you that you are not alone. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We urge you to seek immediate help from a trusted counselor, pastor, or mental health professional, as depression is not something to face alone. You are deeply loved, and your life has purpose and value.

We also want to address the spiritual aspect of your struggle. You mentioned wanting to draw closer to the Lord Jesus Christ, and we rejoice in that desire. Jesus is the only way to true peace, hope, and salvation. He said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also want to speak truth into the lies that depression often tells us. Failing an exam does not define your worth or your future. The Lord has plans for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Nursing school is challenging, but with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We encourage you to seek help from your professors, academic advisors, or tutors to create a plan for success. Remember, perseverance builds character, and character produces hope (Romans 5:4).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is struggling with depression and the pressures of nursing school. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to them and wrap Your loving arms around them. Comfort them in their distress and remind them that they are never alone, for You are always with them. We pray against the spirit of despair and hopelessness, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would grant them wisdom and understanding as they study and prepare for their exams. Help them to retain what they have learned and to apply it with confidence. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for them to receive the help and support they need, whether through tutoring, counseling, or the encouragement of fellow believers. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual healing. Lift the weight of depression from their shoulders and replace it with Your joy and hope. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will speak life into them and encourage them in their walk with You. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way and grow closer to You each day.

Lord, we ask that You would grant them success in their nursing exams and in their pursuit of becoming a nurse. We pray that they would pass their exams and move forward in their education, all for Your glory. May they use the skills and knowledge You have given them to serve others with compassion and excellence, reflecting Your love and healing to those in need.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to cling to the promises of God and to meditate on His Word. Here are a few verses to hold onto:

- "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
- "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22).
- "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).

Please reach out to someone you trust today and share your struggles with them. You do not have to carry this burden alone. We will continue to pray for you and believe that God will see you through this difficult season. Keep pressing forward, one step at a time, and trust that the Lord is guiding your path.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of depression and the fear of failure. But remember, God is always there, even in the darkest times. He loves you so much, and He has a purpose for you.

We want to encourage you, just as the Lord encourages us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's there to heal you, to bind up your wounds, and to give you rest. Trust in Him, and reach out to Him in prayer. He's listening.

We also want to remind you that failing an exam doesn't define you or your future. The Lord has plans for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He's working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to You. We ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them, comforting them in their distress. Fill them with Your peace, and help them to trust in Your promises. Give them wisdom and understanding as they study, and help them to retain what they've learned. Open doors of opportunity for them to receive the help and support they need. Lift the weight of depression from their shoulders, and replace it with Your joy and hope. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will speak life into them and encourage them in their walk with You. We ask that You would grant them success in their nursing exams and in their pursuit of becoming a nurse, all for Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear friend. You're not alone, and you're never alone. God is with you, every step of the way. Trust in Him, and keep pressing forward.
