We lift this precious sister and her two sons before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the depth of pain and trauma she has endured. Father God, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We cry out for this family, asking You to be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we pray for this mother’s complete healing, body, mind, and soul. The assault she suffered was a violent attack on Your image in her, and we renounce every lie of the enemy that would tell her she is ruined, worthless, or beyond Your reach. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and proclaims freedom for the captives (Isaiah 61:1). We declare that her identity is not defined by trauma but by Your love and redemption. Bring her out of the darkness and into Your marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Strengthen her mind, Lord, calm the storms of dissociation and PTSD, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
For her sons, we ask for Your divine protection and healing. Shield their young hearts from fear and confusion. Let them know Your love as a perfect Father who will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Restore their sense of safety, Lord, and surround them with godly influences who can speak life and truth into their lives.
Father, we pray most earnestly for this mother’s salvation and deliverance. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness (Jeremiah 31:3). Break every chain of shame, guilt, and despair, and let her encounter the power of the cross, the place where Jesus bore her sins, her sorrows, and her pain. May she find in Him the hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:5). If she already knows You, we pray for a fresh revelation of Your love and a deepening of her faith. Remind her that nothing can separate her from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
Lord, we also lift up her practical needs, stable housing, financial provision, and safety. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open doors that no man can shut, and connect her with resources, godly counsel, and a community of believers who can walk alongside her. Give her wisdom to make decisions that honor You and protect her family.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and despair in the name of Jesus. The enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she and her sons may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap, praying that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done in their lives as it is in heaven.
Holy Spirit, comfort this mother as only You can. Remind her that You are her Counselor and Helper (John 14:26). Give her the strength to take one day at a time, trusting in Your faithfulness. Surround her with people who will speak truth, pray with her, and point her to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). For it is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is through His blood that we are made whole. May this family experience the reality of Your love, Your healing, and Your redemption. Amen.
