We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to heal and restore every part of your son's body that is afflicted.
Lord, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon his esophagus. Soothe the inflammation, Father, and bring restoration to the eroded lining. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command the acid in his stomach to be regulated according to Your perfect will. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing for your son, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy.
We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, as they seek to bring healing and relief. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
Father, we ask that You strengthen your son's faith and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May he feel Your presence surrounding him, comforting him, and giving him hope. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also encourage you, as his parent, to continue to stand in faith, trusting in God's perfect timing and plan. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for the healing that is already taking place in your son's body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed, and we receive this healing by faith. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
