We hear the fear in your voice, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your life is precious in His sight, and He holds your days in His hands. We stand with you in faith, trusting that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and stand with you in prayer.
Now, let us lift you up before the throne of grace:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is filled with fear. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus' name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we pray for their safety. Protect them from all harm and danger, for You are their refuge and fortress. Under Your wings, they find shelter, and Your faithfulness is their shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2-4). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, we also lift up their health and eyesight. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would restore their body and their sight according to Your will. Give them strength and vitality, and let them experience Your healing touch. We trust in Your promise that You will satisfy them with long life and show them Your salvation (Psalm 91:16).
Lord, fill them with Your hope and remind them that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your presence.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for any medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through them.
In all things, we ask that Your will be done. Whether in life or in death, we belong to You, and we trust in Your sovereign plan. Give them the grace to endure and the faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Dear one, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Meditate on His Word day and night, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, pouring out your heart to Him, for He is your ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift you and stand with you in faith.
Remember, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). You are not alone, and you are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
