SCARED.

Beloved of All
PLEASE PRAY THAT I DONT DIE THIS WEEK. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY SAFETY. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY HEALTH & MY EYESIGHT ASWELL. AMEN. I AM SCARED. I NEED YOUR PRAYERS. PLEASE.

We hear the fear in your voice, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your life is precious in His sight, and He holds your days in His hands. We stand with you in faith, trusting that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and stand with you in prayer.

Now, let us lift you up before the throne of grace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is filled with fear. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus' name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we pray for their safety. Protect them from all harm and danger, for You are their refuge and fortress. Under Your wings, they find shelter, and Your faithfulness is their shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2-4). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).

Father, we also lift up their health and eyesight. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would restore their body and their sight according to Your will. Give them strength and vitality, and let them experience Your healing touch. We trust in Your promise that You will satisfy them with long life and show them Your salvation (Psalm 91:16).

Lord, fill them with Your hope and remind them that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your presence.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for any medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through them.

In all things, we ask that Your will be done. Whether in life or in death, we belong to You, and we trust in Your sovereign plan. Give them the grace to endure and the faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Meditate on His Word day and night, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Spend time in prayer, pouring out your heart to Him, for He is your ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can uplift you and stand with you in faith.

Remember, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1). You are not alone, and you are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We hear the fear in every line of your request, and we are holding you up before God right now. That kind of dread, feeling like your life or health or eyesight is suddenly fragile, can be overwhelming, and we are so glad you reached out. You are not alone in this.

When fear shouts this loudly, it can feel impossible to see past it. We are asking God to steady you, to quiet those pounding thoughts, and to give you a deep sense of His nearness even in the middle of the panic. Please know that many of us have known moments when fear of dying or of losing our health took over, and we are praying for your safety with real tenderness.

In your request you mention your health and eyesight. Alongside prayer, we want to gently encourage you to see a doctor soon, if you haven’t already. That is not a lack of trust, it is simple, everyday wisdom to let a professional check what is going on. We will pray that God gives them clarity and you courage as you take that step.

For now, try to reach out to someone you trust, a friend, a pastor, a family member, and let them know how scared you are. Fear loses some of its power when we speak it aloud to a safe person. And keep telling God exactly what you told us. He is not afraid of your panic, and He will not turn away.

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus, our friend is terrified. Please hold them close right now. Protect them in every way, and let them sense Your steady presence guarding their life and their mind. We ask for Your healing hand over their health and their eyesight, and we pray for wise medical care. Calm the racing heart, silence the “what ifs,” and replace this dread with a peace that makes no human sense. You see them, You love them, and You have not abandoned them. In Your name, amen.

Fear not, for the Lord has heard the trembling of your soul. The fear that grips you is natural, yet Christ came to break the chains of it, death’s sting is drawn for all who hide in Him. Fix your eyes upon Jesus now. It is looking unto Him that conquers the dread of the grave. When your faith rises, your fear sinks; when faith ebbs, terror rushes in. Believe firmly, and you shall not be subject to bondage any more.

You plead for safety, for health, for eyesight, but your times are in His hand, and He is able to keep you from falling. The same God who formed the eye shall guard it, or if He permits dimness, He will be your light in the darkness. The sentence of death in ourselves kills self-trust and drives us to the God who raises the dead. He will help you, though you are but a worm, a worm in the palm of Omnipotence.

Take up the telescope of the promise and look beyond this week of trouble to the inheritance of the saints in light. I will pray for you, but I charge you to pray, too, and let your soul hide beneath the shadow of the Almighty. Fear not, it is almost disobedience when Jesus whispers, “Fear not, I am with you.” The death of Jesus is the death of your sins; by His stripes you are healed. You are safe, not because you feel safe, but because He is your Saviour. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are scared, and your fear is natural, but I urge you to lift up your heart. Why do you tremble at death? Christ has trampled down death by His own death and set free those who were held in lifelong bondage through fear of it. The one who fears bodily death is a slave, but the one who trusts in the risen Lord stands above all terror.

Do not panic as if your life were in the hands of chance or sickness. The same God who numbers the hairs of your head watches over your safety and health, and no one can snatch you from His care unless He permits it for your good. Even if your eyesight fails, the inner light of Christ remains; many endure far worse afflictions and yet shine brighter in virtue than those who see clearly. Your soul is the precious part, and no disease can kill it.

I will pray for you, not that you merely escape death this week, but that you may be delivered from the fear that makes death seem a tyrant. Make the right use of your alarm: let it drive you not to frantic begging but to a firm confidence that Christ is your life. He who gave His body for you on the cross will not abandon your body or your eyes in your time of need. Fear instead the sin that can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Cling to the holy Table, the medicine of immortality, and remember that the resurrection awaits all who are in Christ. Safety is not found in dodging every peril but in belonging to the One who has already conquered the grave. I am praying for your health and your sight, but above all for your soul to be established in the peace that passes understanding.
