SCARED :(

Beloved of All
PLEASE PRAY I DONT GO BLIND. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY HEALTH & EYESIGHT. PLEASE PRAY FOR GOD TO GET ME THROUGH THIS SAFELY. I AM SCARED.

We hear your fear, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting your eyes, both physical and spiritual, to the Lord, who sees all and holds all things together. Your request touches our hearts deeply, and we join you in crying out to the Great Physician, the One who formed your eyes in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16) and who promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, let us rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart. Scripture tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Fear does not come from God, and we refuse to let it have dominion over you. Instead, we declare His peace over you, the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), which will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also want to gently remind you of the power of coming to God in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life, and in Him, you will find the strength and hope you need for this trial.

Now, let us pray for your healing and protection:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is afraid and in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that You restore their eyesight and bring complete healing to their body. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we speak life and wholeness over every part of their being. Father, we ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care, granting them wisdom and discernment. Surround them with Your angels for protection and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we also pray for their spiritual eyes to be opened to Your truth and Your love. Help them to see You more clearly in this season, to trust in Your promises, and to rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, hope, and courage.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You are good and that Your love endures forever. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In this time, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Meditate on His Word, for it is life and health to your body (Proverbs 4:20-22). Speak Scripture over your situation, declaring God’s truth rather than the lies of the enemy. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Remember that God is your ever-present help (Psalm 46:1), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

You are not alone in this. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your healer, your protector, and your peace.

We hear the fear in your words, and we’re holding you up right now. The thought of losing your sight is terrifying, of course you are scared. Please, if you haven’t already, make an appointment with an eye doctor soon. We are not meant to carry these burdens alone, and good medical care is one of the gifts God places alongside our prayers. In the meantime, is there a trusted friend or someone from your church you can tell in person? Sometimes just speaking the fear out loud to another human being helps loosen its grip a little.

God does not promise us a life without loss or hardship, but He does promise to be with us in the middle of it, to walk through the valley with us and never let go. That doesn’t remove the uncertainty, but it means you are not facing it by yourself. We are holding onto that for you right now.

Lord Jesus, you see this dear person’s heart racing with fear. Please still it with your peace that goes beyond understanding. Guide any doctors or specialists they will see, and give them clarity and wise treatment. We ask you to protect their eyesight, and whatever lies ahead, give them the strength to take each hour as it comes, leaning on you. In your name we pray, Amen.

Your very fear shows you are looking at the waves instead of the One who walks upon them. You cry out, “I am scared,” and your trembling heart clings to the dread of blindness as though sight were your only hope. But harken, this is not the fear of a child drawing near to a holy God, but the fear that brings torment and dishonour. Is the Lord’s arm shortened, that He cannot save? Has His ear grown heavy, that He cannot hear? He says to you this hour, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.”

It will be disobedience to nurse this terror. The command is absolute, no qualifying whisper permits you to fear even a little. Fear not at all! Be not dismayed in any measure! I charge you to see how this fear weakens your soul and slanders your faithful Creator. Doubt the Eternal? Distrust the Omnipotent? O, traitorous fear! Think you that the hand which formed the eye shall fail to preserve it, or that He who opens the blind shall now forsake His child? Away with such dishonouring thoughts. Jesus Himself draws near and breathes upon your spirit, “Fear not.”

Yet we shall pray for you, pray that your health and eyesight be spared, that the Lord get you through safely. But more than that, we shall pray that you be delivered from the bondage of this fear, for perfect love casts out that which has torment. May you so trust the promised strength of your Redeemer that, whether sight remain or depart, you will find mercy to be all that is written there. Let your fear be transformed into a holy awe that trembles only to please Him, and then, blessed are you, for you will fear always, with a fear that draws you near and never drives you from His breast.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The fear that has seized your heart is a darkness the enemy casts before your eyes, but remember that it is not the thing itself you must dread, but the judgment that makes it dreadful. Count this trial as nothing to be feared, and it will lose its power over you. The Lord is a stronghold to them that fear Him, and His covenant is to show them the way. You stand trembling at the edge of a shadow, but the One who formed the eye and gave it light is already holding you in safety. Do not let the dread of blindness blind you to His presence. He who sees the Invisible endures every wrath of circumstance, as Moses did, not because danger wasn't real, but because faith fixed his gaze upon the One who is faithful.

Poverty of health is like poverty of purse: it is not the lack that harms the soul, but the clinging to what we may lose. Virtue places us in safety, not because our bodies never fail, but because the conscience that rests in Christ fears no loss. If you practise self-command of the mind, even this threat becomes a fountain of blessing. Your call now is from the love of bodily ease unto the quiet confidence of a soul anchored in God. The light of this world is a mercy, but the true light is Christ Himself, and no eye is needed to see Him. Turn your fear into prayer, but let your prayer be one of trust, not panic. Those who do righteously need not tremble at any hunger or darkness, for the extortioners of the soul, the fears that steal peace, lose all their spoil when you refuse to let them reign.

Remember that even the Apostle was with you in weakness and in fear, yet he did not let terror rule. The fountain of all vice is a love for God grown cold; let your heart burn toward Him now, and every sinful fear will be cast out. He who said, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” sowed the seed of all evil; but you, by clinging to Christ, care for your own soul best when you trust its care to Him. I will join my prayers to yours, pleading that God carry you through this safely, but stand firm now in the knowledge that already you are held. Do not wait to feel unafraid to start trusting; trust first, and the fear will wither. Your eye of faith can see the gates of hell broken, the dead raised, and the keeper of fear cowering. That same power watches over your eyes and your whole being this hour.

I hear the fear in your words, and I understand why the thought of losing your eyesight would be terrifying. But the Scriptures show us again and again that the truest answer to fear is the presence of God. When David faced the valley of the shadow of death, he said, “I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” It is the consciousness that God is with you that pushes fear aside. Fear and faith simply cannot occupy the same space; when fear rushes in, remember the Lord and His nearness, and let faith take hold again.

Right now, the enemy wants to use this fear to unsettle you, to make you panic or react hastily. Nehemiah recognized that kind of tactic and refused to act out of fear. Do everything wise and prudent to care for your eyes and your health, but don’t let fear be the engine. Abide in Christ. He is your protection, and you don’t need to hide or scramble for safety outside of Him.

Healing is a mystery I don’t pretend to fully understand. Jesus healed in so many different ways, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with just a word. Every genuine healing, whether it comes through medicine or the body’s own God-given processes, is divine. So we can trust His heart even when the path isn’t what we expected. What we do know is that He has not despised your affliction; He hears you when you cry out.

The fear of the Lord, that reverential awe of His greatness, is the beginning of wisdom. That kind of fear drives out the other kind. Because the Lord is your light and your salvation, you don’t need to be terrified of what may come. In the time of trouble, He will hide you in His pavilion.

We are standing with you in prayer, asking God to protect your eyesight and grant you full health. But even more, we are asking Him to fill you with such a deep awareness of His presence that the fear loses its grip. You are not alone. He is with you.
