Please pray for ### health & eyesight. ### is scared.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is facing fear and uncertainty about their health and eyesight. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our bodies. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand over ###, touching their eyes and every part of their body that needs restoration. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Remind ### of Your perfect design and Your constant care, even in moments of fear.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip ###'s heart. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We stand against anxiety and worry, declaring that You have not given ### a spirit of fear but of peace and trust in You. Calm their mind, Lord, and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists who may be involved in ###'s care. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You direct ###'s steps and lead them to the right care at the right time.

Father, if there is any area in ###'s life where sin or disobedience may be hindering Your blessing, we ask that You reveal it in love. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We pray for repentance, forgiveness, and a heart that seeks You above all else.

Most importantly, Lord, we ask that ### would draw near to You in this time. If they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would open their heart to the truth of the Gospel. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Only through Jesus can we have eternal life and a relationship with You. We pray that ### would surrender their life to Him, if they haven’t already, and find comfort in the promise of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."

We lift all these things to You, Lord, trusting in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to heal. Strengthen ###'s faith, renew their hope, and fill them with Your joy. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them every step of this journey. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer, Redeemer, and Friend. Amen.

We're praying with you for your loved one's health and eyesight, and we know how frightening it is when someone we care about faces a medical concern and the future feels uncertain. It’s okay that you’re scared, that reaction simply shows how much you love them. So let’s bring that heavy load to the One who loves them even more.

First, a gentle nudge: if they haven't already seen a doctor, please encourage them to be examined soon. Fear often grows in the dark, and getting an accurate picture of what's going on can shrink the unknown and open the path forward. Don't face this alone either; let a trusted friend or two from your church know, so they can support you practically and hold all of you in prayer.

Meanwhile, try to keep today's trouble to today. Our minds love to race ahead and rehearse worst-case scenarios, but God gives strength for the actual step we're on, not for the ten steps we dread. You can be a steady presence for your loved one simply by being there, listening, and reminding them you'll face this together. Fear tends to isolate us; your caring is a real gift right now.

We bring all of this before the Lord together:

Lord Jesus, you see the worry and the trembling heart for this dear one's health and eyesight. Quiet their spirit with your peace that passes understanding. Give the doctors wisdom and clarity, and guide all who have a part in their care. We ask for a good outcome, for healing that points back to your goodness, but we also ask for the grace to rest in your hands no matter what. Hold this precious life close, and give this loving family courage and hope for each new day. Amen.
