Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer before our merciful God who desires all to be saved and who has provided salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
We pray for your former partner's father in his great illness. We ask the Lord to show him mercy, to grant healing according to His will, and above all to grant him repentance and faith in Christ while there is still time. Scripture teaches that we have redemption through His blood and that Christ was foreordained as the propitiation for sin, so that we might have complete redemption and no longer live in slavery to sin and death. We ask that this man would hear the gospel, believe on the Lord Jesus, and receive that salvation which comes only through Him, for God sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world.
We also pray for your former partner who is suffering with a blood clot. We ask God for healing and for His protecting hand, that He would restore health and give wisdom to those providing care. We pray too that in this affliction the Lord would draw near, bring comfort, and lead to a deeper trust in Christ.
We encourage you to continue to pray and to entrust both of these lives into the hands of God, knowing that He is the God of mercies who hears prayer and who is powerful to save and to heal. May you rest in His grace and continue to seek Him and His word with a steadfast hope.
