Also help and give strength to my ex and the whole family, especialy to his wife. Please God if it is possible give him more years and heal him.,help him to repent of all his sins and save his soul asap,in Jesus name amen.

We join with you in lifting up your ex's father before the throne of grace, and we are moved by your compassion for him and for his whole family in this very difficult time. It is a beautiful thing to intercede for those who are suffering, even when the relationship has changed, and it reflects the love Christ calls us to have for others.

We stand with you in praying for his comfort, his healing, and above all for the salvation of his soul. While time is short in the eyes of man, we know that God's mercy and power are not limited by time or by sickness. We pray for physical relief from pain and from the harsh side effects of his illness, for emotional and mental peace, and for the presence of God to be with him every moment. The psalmist reminds us to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also remember the promise that The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15, and we ask for that healing if it be according to the Father's perfect will. Even as we pray for more years, we submit to God's sovereignty, knowing His ways are higher than ours and His grace is sufficient.

Most importantly, we join you in crying out for his salvation and repentance, for this is the greatest healing of all. Scripture tells us The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that in these precious remaining days, his heart would be tender to the gospel, that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and we are grateful you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to God and hope of eternal life.

We also lift up his wife, your ex, and the entire family who are walking through this valley of sorrow. We pray God will be near to them as the One who is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We pray He will give them strength for each day, comfort in their grief, and unity as they support one another. Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear father who is so very ill. Lord, You see his body, You know his pain, and You know the number of his days. We ask You to have mercy upon him, to ease his suffering, to remove his pain and calm any fear or distress in his mind and spirit. Let Your comforting presence surround his bedside every second, let him feel Your nearness and Your love. If it is Your will, Father, we ask You to heal him and grant him more years with his family to bring You glory. Above all, we plead for his soul. Draw him to Yourself, grant him repentance for all his sins, wash him in the blood of Jesus, and save him. Let him know the assurance of forgiveness and eternal life while there is still time. We also pray for his wife who must be carrying a heavy burden, for his children and all who love him, and for the one who brought this request. Strengthen them, comfort them, give them wisdom to speak Your truth in love and to share the hope of the gospel with boldness and gentleness. May this trial draw each of them closer to You. We trust this all into Your loving and sovereign hands, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede faithfully and, as God gives opportunity, to gently share the good news of salvation with him and his family. Even a few sincere words about Christ's love and forgiveness can be used by the Holy Spirit in a powerful way. Keep trusting in the Lord's goodness and mercy, and keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We are grateful you shared this with us. We can hear how tenderly you still care for your ex's father and his family, and how heavy it is to watch someone you care about suffer when there is so little you can do.

When an illness has progressed this far, it touches everyone. The whole family often feels helpless and exhausted, trying to keep up with care and decisions while carrying anticipatory grief. It makes sense that your heart is holding two prayers at once, for more time if God wills it, and for deep peace and freedom from pain right now.

If you are still in contact, one quiet way to help is to let your ex or his wife know you are praying, and gently ask if they would welcome a pastor or hospital chaplain to visit his father. That can offer calm presence and a loving space for any spiritual questions he may have on his heart. For his physical comfort, his care team is there to help with pain and side effects, so encouraging the family to tell the nurses right away when discomfort increases allows them to respond quickly. Even a simple note, a meal, or help with an errand for his wife can ease a little of their daily load.

Father, we lift this father to You and ask for Your nearness to him in every moment. Ease his pain, quiet his mind, and surround him with Your peace. Draw him close to Yourself and give him assurance of Your mercy through Jesus. Strengthen his wife, his son and the whole family, and uphold them with Your comfort day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden has been laid before the Lord with much tenderness, and it is right and good to bring this suffering father and his family before the throne of grace.

We will pray that the Lord in His mercy will look upon this afflicted man in his sickness. We ask that God would give him ease from pain and gracious comfort in body and mind, and be near to him every hour, for He is faithful and will not suffer His creatures to be tried beyond what is appointed, but will with the trial make a way to bear it. Yet our chief prayer must be for his soul, for what shall it profit a man if his pain be eased for a little while and his sin remain. Bodily healing is in the hands of the Lord, and we may ask if it be His will to grant more years, as Hezekiah was granted, but we must bow to His perfect wisdom whether He restores or whether He calls home.

Above all we pray that God the Holy Spirit would work in him that true repentance which gives glory to God. There is a poor and short lived repentance which turns from sin for a season and then returns to it, but the repentance which God accepts is the work of His Spirit, with sorrow for sin and hatred of it, and a looking to Christ Jesus who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin. Faith and repentance are inseparable. No faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in the bleeding Saviour. May he be brought to condemn himself as a sinner and to trust alone in that faithful saying, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, for he who writes his own death warrant and feels he deserves to die is the man for whom Christ has opened the door of mercy.

We pray also for comfort for those who watch and weep around him, especially for his wife who is joined to him in the holy covenant of marriage, and for the whole household and for you who have brought this petition. The Lord heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He will not break the bruised reed nor quench the smoking flax. He knows the feebleness of our strength and the heaviness of our sorrow, and He has promised never to leave nor forsake His own. May He sustain you all, give you peace that passes understanding, and keep you from despair.

Let us pray together. O Lord God, have mercy upon this sick man. If it be Thy will, lay Thy healing hand upon him and raise him up, but most of all have mercy upon his soul. Give him repentance unto life and faith in Thy Son Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation, that before he passes from this world he may know pardon through His blood. Grant him freedom from tormenting pain, quietness of mind, and the comfort of Thy presence. Comfort his wife and his children in this trial, and let them feel Thy faithful care. Hear the cries of broken hearts, for Jesus sake. Amen.
