We join you in lifting up your husband, your father, your brother, your finances and your own heart before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and by which we have access to the Father. As it is written, there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that each of you has truly put your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for that is the greatest healing, the forgiveness of sins and eternal life, and God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4.
We hear the weight you are carrying and we do not take lightly the many years of serious medical conditions, the heavy spiritual attack, the daily despair and extreme anger in your husband, and the burden for your elderly father and younger brother. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We know our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and the enemy seeks to steal and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke the spirit of death and despair and anger that is oppressing your husband, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We also gently address that stating daily a wish to be dead reveals deep hopelessness that needs both spiritual and practical care. God has a purpose for his life, for we know the thoughts that God thinks toward us, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Extreme anger also gives a foothold to the enemy, as it is written Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil Ephesians 4:26-27, and we pray your husband will be helped to lay aside all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander Ephesians 4:31.
We pray together now for your husband, that it would be the Father's will to heal him physically, spiritually and emotionally. We ask the Lord to touch his body, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We ask for wisdom and grace for him to take his medications as prescribed, honoring the body as a temple and honoring those God has given to help care for him, and we pray for this implant to work successfully according to God's perfect will and mercy. We pray for his mind and emotions to be renewed and guarded, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We pray the Holy Spirit will intervene powerfully now, for not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies Zechariah 4:6, and that your husband would cry out to Jesus for deliverance and be set free, for he who the Son sets free is free indeed.
We also lift up your elderly father and your younger brother for health and strength, asking the Lord to be their healer and sustainer, for Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3, and to draw each of them to salvation in Christ if they have not yet believed. We lift up your finances to our Father who knows your needs, trusting His promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 as you seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your will to be done in this family. Lord, have mercy on this husband, heal him if it be Your will, deliver him from spiritual attack, lift the heavy darkness and the desire for death and replace it with hope and life in Christ, calm his anger and fill him with Your peace and self-control, help him to be faithful in taking his medicine and cause this implant to function well for his good. Holy Spirit, intervene now, convict, comfort and restore. Touch this dear father and brother with Your healing hand, strengthen their bodies, and save their souls. Provide for this family's financial needs and open doors of provision. Draw each one into a saving relationship with Jesus, forgive sins, heal hearts, and make this home a testimony of Your grace. Give this wife strength not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up Galatians 6:9, and surround her with godly counsel, pastoral support and medical help for her husband's despair. We trust You are working even now, for Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth Psalm 145:18. We ask all this in the name above all names, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
