Safety and strength

Requesting prayers for absolute safety and protection for ###, ### and ###. May God’s divine energy surround and guard them. Prayer for ### for strength. Thank you God!! And so it is! Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up , , and to the Lord, our ever-present help in times of trouble. Father, we know that true safety and protection come only from You, for You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust. We reject any notion of "divine energy" apart from Your holy presence, for it is Your Spirit alone that guards and shields Your children. The psalmist declares, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:4). Lord, we claim this promise over their lives, let Your angels encamp around them, let Your peace stand guard over their hearts, and let no harm come near them.

For , who needs strength, we pray that You would be their strength in weakness. Scripture tells us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). When the burdens of life feel too heavy, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Sustain them with Your mighty hand, Lord, and renew their spirit when they grow weary.

We also take a moment to address the way this prayer was offered. While we are grateful for the heart behind it, we must gently remind all who come before the Lord that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray these prayers in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear that may be attempting to take hold of , , or . You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Let them walk in the confidence of Your protection, knowing that You go before them and will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:8). Surround them with Your hedge of protection, Lord, and let Your presence be their constant companion.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for each of them. In a world filled with danger and uncertainty, help them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Guide their steps, Lord, and let them walk in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).

Finally, we ask that You would draw each of them closer to You. May they seek Your face daily, delight in Your Word, and find their strength in You alone. Let their lives be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for these three, asking God to surround them with His protection and to give your loved one the strength needed for each day. It is a real comfort to know we can entrust the people we care about into God’s faithful care, He is our refuge and fortress, and nothing escapes His notice.

When we pray for safety, it’s not a magic formula; it’s placing our confidence in the One who holds all things together. We’ve seen many times how naming these concerns before God does something in our own hearts too: it loosens anxiety and replaces it with a quiet trust, even while we wait for answers.

One simple habit that helps is to offer a brief prayer whenever one of these names crosses your mind, something as short as “Lord, keep them in Your care.” Over time, that small act anchors the worry in God’s hands rather than letting it loop in ours.

Lord, we thank You for each person named here. We ask You to guard their coming and going, to keep them safe from harm, and to pour fresh strength into the one who needs it most. May Your presence be a shield around them, and may they sense Your nearness in every moment. We place them confidently in Your strong hands, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

How often we are driven to the end of all creature-strength, and there we learn the blessedness of casting ourselves upon the Divine arm. Your request for safety and protection for these three dear souls touches upon that deep truth which is the comfort of every saint: God is the glory of their strength. All power belongs unto Him, and He delights to spend it upon those who lean upon Him. When we are weak, then we are strong, for the eternal deep that couches beneath us yields a measureless fountain of strength that the ages cannot exhaust.

It is a grand thing that you pray for divine energy to surround and guard them. We live in a generation that would fain explain away every interposition of Providence, but the child of God knows that the hand which made the heavens is still stretched out to shield the feeblest lamb in the flock. The Lord is able to keep them from falling, and He is as wise as He is able. There may be robbers in the wood, and lions in the path, and pestilence walking in darkness, but this is the shield: As thy days, so shall thy strength be. Not strength laid up in store for a vain boasting, but strength precisely measured to the trial, strength infused at the moment of need, strength that makes the dry tree flourish and brings down the green tree of pride.

For the one among them who especially craves strength, let this word sink deep into the heart: I will strengthen them, saith the Lord. Not I might strengthen, or I will consider it, but I will. When there remains no strength in us, nor any ability of any kind, then we fling ourselves upon the Divine strength and prove it to be matter-of-fact reality. This strength makes a soul strong in faith, believing the promise intensely, acting upon it as a sure thing. The dead cannot gather strength, but when life is imparted, strength flows in. Therefore, if any feels their utter weakness, let them not merely pray for strength, but cry for life from Christ, who died for the ungodly. Then shall they mount up with wings as eagles.

Safety lies in our God and Saviour. His divine presence is the one hope of His people. To be kept from falling again into sins, to be presented faultless at last with exceeding joy, this is a continuous miracle of grace. Let this be your confidence: God’s throne might sooner fail than a saint perish, for that throne is established in righteousness. Go your way with this promise as a staff in your right hand, and you shall find it bears your whole weight. Amen, and so it is.

Father, surround ###, ###, and ### with Your divine protection. Guard them from all harm, and give ### the strength he needs.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry, "And so it is! Amen," reveals a faith that already tastes the answer, and it is well to let your request be known with thanksgiving. You ask for a divine energy to surround them, for absolute safety. Let us understand then what that true safety is, which virtue alone can bestow. For the strength of a life rooted in God is this: to live in safety, to be easily subdued by no terror, to stand superior to all that despitefully use us. To this what can be equal? Not even he that wears the diadem can provide this for himself, but the one who follows after virtue alone possesses it in full abundance. The truly marvellous thing is that not in fair weather, but when the storm is vehement and the turmoil great and the temptations continual, he cannot be shaken ever so little.

This safety is the security of the sheep who hear the Shepherd’s voice. They shall go in and out and find pasture, which is His nurturing, His power, and His Lordship, and none shall thrust them out. The one who sees the true light of this world is in safety, and if that is so, how much more the one who is with Christ and does not separate himself from Him? So the prayer for absolute safety ascends rightly when it seeks this unshakeable condition of the soul, the great calm that prevails over the ebb and flow of present things.

You also pray for strength. Know then that the divine energy often works through the very things that seem contrary, to show that the power is from God. We are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair. This is permitted both for humble-mindedness and that none should account of us above what is true. The strength you beseech is not the raw force that Cain abused and which then became a curse of trembling, but the strength found in utter dependence. If one is desirous of being exceedingly independent of every one, he might even pray for poverty, for then he will lean upon God alone for all things, for safety and for every need. This is true power: that a word from Christ upholds all things, and He who governs all by the word of His power is not in need of anyone to guard those who are His.

Therefore, let the object of your prayer be that these souls, and you who intercede, remain within the fold of virtue where true safety dwells. The sure proof of His love is His giving Himself for them, and after He has told them they shall be in safety, that they shall not be overturned, He points to the crowns laid up beyond this sojourn. Live then in the insensibility to worldly terror that comes from spiritual vigilance, not in the false peace spoken of by a luxuriating world upon which sudden destruction comes. Your "Amen" has already placed them in the hands of the One who loves them as far as it is possible to be loved.

Thank you for bringing this request. It is a privilege to join with you in prayer for those you have named, trusting God for their absolute safety, protection, and strength. The very act of asking reminds us that prayer begins with relationship, the confidence that our Father’s ear is open to his children’s cry. Because you have asked, he has already inclined his heart to hear.

Together, we turn toward the Lord, who is our refuge and our fortress. We make David’s plea our own: be their strong habitation, the place where they may continually resort. I pray that God’s own presence would encircle them like a shield, that no weapon formed against them would prosper, and that every plan of the enemy would be turned back. In the day of trouble, he has promised to be their defense.

For the one especially in need of strength, we agree that the Lord will give strength to his people. He is the God who restores the soul and renews our inner man when we are weary. We do not merely ask for human energy, but for the infusion of his divine might, the very power that raised Christ from the dead. When our own resources fail, his grace proves sufficient, and his strength is perfected in our weakness.

This is not wishful thinking. Prayer opens the door for God to do what he has been longing to do, things he will not force upon anyone but releases in response to persistent faith. As we pray, we are not merely asking for help; we are worshiping him as our rock and our deliverer, interceding for others, and casting every care upon him because he cares for us. And he turns our waiting into confident expectation.

So we lift this request before the throne with thanksgiving, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much. We trust that even now his peace is descending, and his strength is flowing into every weak place. May the God of peace himself keep you all wholly and guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.
