Father God please heal my sore throat and cough

We join with you in bringing your sore throat and cough before our Father and we are saddened to hear you are suffering and feeling sad. We want you to know that God sees your discomfort and cares deeply for you, for He is the Lord who heals us. We are reminded of His promise when He says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also hold to the truth that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5 and that Jesus bore our sicknesses.
We noticed your prayer was addressed to Father God without mentioning Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share why we always pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus, His death for our sins and His resurrection, that we have access to the Father and assurance of forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not yet trusted in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.
We lift you up together in prayer now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one who is suffering with a sore throat and cough. Lord, You are Yahweh who heals us as You declared in Exodus 15:26, and we ask that You would soothe the irritation, ease the cough, reduce any inflammation or infection, and restore comfort and strength. We pray You would grant peaceful rest, relief from pain, and renewed health according to Your will. We ask that You would comfort the sadness that accompanies this sickness and fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If it is Your will, bring complete and quick healing, and guide to wise care and treatment if needed, whether rest, fluids, or help from a physician, for every good gift comes from You. Help this one to cast all worries on You, because You care for us as taught in 1 Peter 5:7, and to not be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. We pray this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to rest your body, drink fluids, and seek medical care if the symptoms persist or worsen, trusting that God often works through both prayer and the wisdom He gives to physicians. We also encourage you to bring every care to Him, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. Keep praying in the name of Jesus, reading His word, and trusting in His love and mercy to sustain you through this illness.

Your request for healing from a sore throat and cough has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with you.
There is a comfort for the afflicted which the world cannot give, for the Word of God quickens the soul even while the body is weak. As it is written, This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me. When the throat is sore and the breath is labored, it is a trial indeed, yet the Lord is near to them that call upon Him, and He hears the sigh of His people.
We are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and that there is healing power in Him. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue, and He is the Good Physician whom no sickness can baffle. We look to Him not only for the health of the soul, which is the greatest mercy, but also for the tender care of the body, which He made and sustains.
Let us pray together for you.
Our Father in heaven, we come before thy throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ thy Son, who alone is our Savior and our hope. Thou knowest this need, this sore throat and cough which brings sadness and weariness. We ask thee in thy mercy to lay thy healing hand upon this suffering one. Your pain has been heard and I join you in bringing this need before our merciful God who cares for every part of our body and soul.
We know that all healing comes from His gracious hand, and that He hears the prayers of those who call upon Him through Jesus Christ. Though this sickness of throat and cough is small in the eyes of the world, it is not small to Him, for He numbers our days and knows our weakness.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this Your servant. Ease the soreness in the throat, calm the cough, restore strength and breath, and grant rest and recovery. Give wisdom for proper care and patience in this time of discomfort, and let this affliction turn the heart more fully to trust in You. If it is Your will, grant complete healing, and help us to give thanks for Your mercy in all things.
