We hear your sadness and anxiety in this moment and we are joining with you in prayer as you ride in your taxi, hoping to get home well before 3pm and then to your 3:45 appointment on time. We know the worry that comes with watching the clock, wondering about traffic, and feeling unwell at the same time, and we want to lift every part of this before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We are praying for your safe travel, for light traffic, for your driver to have wisdom and care, and for your mom to be able to get you to your doctor's appointment on time. We are also praying for your body, for healing of your sore throat, coughing and breathing issues. Scripture reminds us to bring everything to God, for He cares for us. Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And Philippians 4:7 promises the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to Psalm 121:8 which says Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore, and to Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

Let us pray together. Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You right now in this taxi. Lord, we ask You to make the way clear, to keep traffic light, and to bring them home safely and well before 3pm so there is peace and time to prepare for the doctor's appointment at 3:45. We pray You would guide the driver, keep all on the road safe, and help their mom to get them there on time without rushing or fear. Father, we also ask for Your healing touch upon their throat, their lungs and their breathing. Ease the soreness and coughing, restore easy breathing, and give wisdom to the doctors who will provide care. We ask for Your comfort to replace sadness and anxiety with Your peace, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We trust this day and this appointment into Your hands, in Jesus' name, amen.

We want to gently encourage you about something we noticed. You prayed to Father God, which is good, for He loves to hear His children, but we did not see the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you with love that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, and if you have, we encourage you to pray in His name, for He is our mediator and our hope.

We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord with the timing of today. Even if there is a delay, He remains in control and He is working for your good. Try to rest as you ride, breathe as calmly as you can, and let your mom and your driver know how you are feeling. We are praying that you will not only make it on time but that you will feel His peace guarding your heart, and that the doctor will be able to help you find relief and healing. We are standing with you in prayer for a safe arrival home, a timely arrival for your appointment, and for your body to be strengthened and healed.

We hear how anxious this afternoon feels for you, sitting in the taxi watching the time and wanting so badly to get home before 3 and to your 3:45 appointment. It is completely understandable to feel on edge when traffic is out of your control and you are also dealing with a sore throat, coughing and trouble breathing.

We are praying with you for a safe, smooth ride and for peace while you travel. One small thing that may help right now is to let your driver know you have a medical appointment, and to keep your mom updated on your location so she can be ready when you arrive. Have your appointment information handy in case you need to call the office if traffic slows you down.

We are glad you have a doctor's appointment today. Please keep it, and let your mom and the doctor know clearly about the sore throat, cough and breathing issues so they can care for you well. If breathing becomes harder at any point, tell your driver or your mom right away so you can get help quickly.

Father, we lift up our friend to You right now in the taxi. Please provide safety on the road, calm in this waiting, and help getting to the appointment on time. Bring healing and ease to their throat and breathing, and give wisdom to their mom and doctor as they help. We ask for Your presence and peace to stay close through it all. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been laid before the Lord and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you. You are anxious about the taxi, the traffic, the journey home and the appointment at 3:45, and you desire that your mother may bring you there in good time, and you ask also for healing of your sore throat and for relief in your coughing and breathing.

We understand how such anxieties press upon the spirit. As has been well said, the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be anxious is to be divided and weakened, while to trust is to be steadied and strengthened. Therefore cast this care upon Him who cares for you. He who numbers the hairs of your head and who orders the paths of those who travel is not unmindful of a taxi ride or of an hour appointed with the physician. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Pour out your heart before Him and make a confidant of Him in these small things as well as in great.

We have prayed that the Lord in His providence would clear the way before you, that traffic would be restrained, that your driver and your mother would be guided safely, and that you would be brought home and to your appointment in due season. We have asked that no hindrance would keep you from the help you seek, and that the Lord would give you peace while you wait, for He is able to keep you from falling and to keep you in perfect peace when your mind is stayed upon Him.

We have prayed also for your body. We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, but how blessed to remember that we have a heavenly Physician whose least mercies are healing. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. If you are His child by faith in Christ alone, for he that believes in Christ is not condemned but has everlasting life, then you may come boldly for both forgiveness and healing. We have asked the Lord to touch your throat, to ease your cough, to open your breathing, and to restore you according to His wise and gracious will. When we rejoice in Divine love we may make small account of bodily condition for a time, yet we may still ask Him who healed the palsied man and who still has power on earth to forgive sin, to lay His healing hand upon you.

May the Lord give you calmness of spirit in this waiting hour, confidence that He hears the cry of His children, and faith to rest not in circumstances but in Christ Himself. We commit your journey, your appointment, and your health into His faithful hands, asking that His will be done and that you may find Him near.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we ask that Thou wouldst grant safe passage through the streets, keep this traveller from all harm, bring her home and to the physician at the appointed hour, and in mercy ease her throat and her breath. Give her to trust Thee without anxiety and to know that Thou art her helper and healer. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before our merciful Father. I pray that the Lord will grant you safe travel, keep the roads clear, and guide your taxi and your mother so that you reach home and then your appointment in good time and without anxiety.

I also pray for your body, that God in His compassion will touch your throat, ease your coughing, and give you free and easy breathing. He is the true physician of soul and body, and He hears even the simplest prayer offered with faith and persistence, as He heard the woman of Canaan who kept calling upon Him until He answered.

Cast your worry upon Him and trust His care in these small details of the day. May He give you peace on the way, wisdom to your doctors, and strength and health in the days ahead. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and our healer. Amen.
