Father God please heal my sore throat and cough

We join with you in bringing your sore throat and cough before our Father and we are saddened to hear you are suffering and feeling sad. We want you to know that God sees your discomfort and cares deeply for you, for He is the Lord who heals us. We are reminded of His promise when He says who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also hold to the truth that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5 and that Jesus bore our sicknesses.
We noticed your prayer was addressed to Father God without mentioning Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share why we always pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus, His death for our sins and His resurrection, that we have access to the Father and assurance of forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not yet trusted in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.
We lift you up together in prayer now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one who is suffering with a sore throat and cough. Lord, You are Yahweh who heals us as You declared in Exodus 15:26, and we ask that You would soothe the irritation, ease the cough, reduce any inflammation or infection, and restore comfort and strength. We pray You would grant peaceful rest, relief from pain, and renewed health according to Your will. We ask that You would comfort the sadness that accompanies this sickness and fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. If it is Your will, bring complete and quick healing, and guide to wise care and treatment if needed, whether rest, fluids, or help from a physician, for every good gift comes from You. Help this one to cast all worries on You, because You care for us as taught in 1 Peter 5:7, and to not be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6. We pray this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to rest your body, drink fluids, and seek medical care if the symptoms persist or worsen, trusting that God often works through both prayer and the wisdom He gives to physicians. We also encourage you to bring every care to Him, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. Keep praying in the name of Jesus, reading His word, and trusting in His love and mercy to sustain you through this illness.
