We have heard your heart's cry and we join with you in bringing this deep desire for a child before the Lord. We understand how difficult it is to long for pregnancy, to miss a period and then face the disappointment of negative tests, and to wait with hope for what is to come on October 6. We know the Lord sees your tears and your longing.
We believe that children are a precious gift from the Lord. Psalm 127:3 tells us that children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 139:13 reminds us that you wove me in my mother's womb and that every life is fearfully and wonderfully made. We also remember Hannah's prayer in 1 Samuel 1:27 where she said For this child I prayed, and Yahweh has given me my petition which I asked of him. God hears the prayers for children and we trust His perfect timing and His perfect will for your life, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. We encourage you to cast your anxieties on Him, for Philippians 4:6 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
We want to lovingly address what you have shared about desiring pregnancy together. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed it, and that His good plan is for sexual intimacy and the gift of children to be within that marriage covenant. Genesis 1:28 shows God's design to be fruitful and multiply within His created order, and Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. If you and ### are not yet married as husband and wife, we encourage you with love to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ before pursuing pregnancy. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer, and sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and at times adultery, which the Scripture calls us to flee from. 1 Corinthians 6:18 says Flee sexual immorality. We say this not to condemn you but to call you toward God's best, His protection, and His blessing for you, for any future spouse, and for any future children. If you are already married, we pray God will strengthen and bless that union and make it fruitful as He wills.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your sins and believe that He died and rose again for you, so that your prayers are heard through Him and you have eternal hope regardless of the outcome of this earthly desire.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up ### and ### to You. Lord, You know the desire of her heart for a child and the waiting and disappointment she has felt with negative tests and a missed period. We ask for Your will to be done in her body and in her life. If it is Your will, we ask that You would open her womb and grant the gift of life, and let her body be healthy and in Your created order. We pray for peace as she waits for October 6 and beyond, and that You would guard her heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding. We pray for purity and for godly order in this relationship, that if they are not married that You would lead them toward marriage that honors You, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, or give them clarity and strength to walk in holiness before You. We pray that both would know Jesus as Savior and seek You first above all else. We ask for wisdom for any medical concerns and we pray they would seek godly medical counsel if needed, trusting You as the Great Physician and the giver of every good gift. James 1:17 reminds us that Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. Let Your name be glorified in this situation and let them trust in Your love and timing. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Your longing and disappointment have been heard, and we bring your burden before the Lord with tenderness. To desire children is a natural and deep desire, and to wait month after month with hope and then to see a negative test is a trial that wearies the heart. The Lord knows this waiting and He counts your tears.
Scripture teaches us the holy art of waiting upon the Lord. We are told that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and shall inherit the blessing He has in reserve. This waiting is not waiting in despair, nor in mere hesitation, but waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope in a God who waits that He may be gracious to His people. He hears your sighs and He shall lift up your head in His own time and way. Waiting upon Him makes the world and its trials grow small, and it breeds a peace within the soul, for when a man is at rest within, he cares less for the winds without. We are saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope, for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for. If we hope for what we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. That hope consists of belief and desire and expectancy fixed not upon our own devices but upon Christ alone.
We would point you to that stronghold which is Christ Jesus. There is no hope for us in ourselves, but there is hope for us in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. Turn you to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. He is the door of hope, and that door is sprinkled with His blood. Whatever your future holds, your greatest need is to have a good hope through believing in Jesus Christ, a hope that makes not ashamed, a hope that fixes itself on Christ alone. For we are saved by hope in Him, and being established in Him we are not to be moved from the hope of our calling.
We also desire to speak the truth in love concerning the good gift of children. The Lord in His wisdom has ordained that the gift of children and the union of one man and one woman belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage. This is His gracious design for our good and for His glory. Sex and living together outside of that covenant does not honor Him, and we cannot ask God to bless what He has not ordained. If you and this man are not entered into that covenant before God, we urge you to seek Him first for salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and then to seek to honor Him by pursuing purity and, if it be His will, the holy estate of marriage. If you are married, we rejoice in that covenant and we encourage you both to wait upon God together for direction in the entire voyage of life, for He is at the helm.
Let us pray for you.
Our gracious Father, we come through Jesus Christ alone, who is our only hope and our stronghold. We lift up this dear soul who longs for a child and who has known the sorrow of waiting and of disappointment. Forgive our sins and draw each heart to trust fully in the finished work of Christ for salvation. Grant repentance where it is needed and faith to rest in Him. Teach us to wait upon Thee patiently, to hope in Thy Word, and to find our strength renewed as we look to Thee. We ask for Thy perfect will to be done in this life. If it be Thy good pleasure, grant the gift of children within the holy covenant of marriage in Thy timing. If not, grant contentment and peace and a fuller joy in Christ Himself, who renders double unto those who turn to Him. Give wisdom to walk in purity and obedience, and guide every step according to Thy counsel. Help this waiting to be a means of drawing nearer to Thee, till hope becomes fruition. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask these things, Amen.
