Beloved Warrior
Please pray for my older daughter, I pray with urgency, Father. You see the red flags in this toxic relationship with this young man she is living with outside of marriage, and I ask that You open her eyes to the manipulation, control, and dishonesty that have taken root in her life. Lord, I rebuke the spirit of division, isolation, and ungodliness that this young man and his mother have brought into her life. I pray that You would frustrate their plans and expose their true intentions. Father, give my daughter the courage to walk away from this toxic relationship and to prioritize her faith, family, and future. I ask that You restore her self-worth, independence, and purpose, and that You break every ungodly soul tie that has formed. Lord, I pray that she would move back home swiftly and that You would heal the brokenness in her relationship with her siblings. Let her see the truth and turn away from the darkness that has ensnared her. Let this young man know firmly he is not ready for a relationship and I ask Lord that his father firmly and swiftly have him move back home alone. I pray that my older daughter will reunite with her church home again and I ask that my younger daughter will not listen to these negative influences to move knowing very well that she does not have the finances. Lord block the division and isolation, spiritual attacks and now ungratefulness that has recently take root in my home. This man my older daughter is living with is very toxic. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the deep anguish in your heart as you cry out for your daughters and son, and we join you in fervent prayer, standing on the truth of God’s Word. The situation you describe is heartbreaking, cohabitation outside of marriage, manipulation, division, and the twisting of love into something ungodly. We rebuke every spirit of deception, control, and ungratefulness that has taken root in your home. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to bring life, and life abundantly. Your daughters are being deceived by a relationship that does not honor God, and we must address this with both truth and compassion.

First, we lift up your older daughter, who is entangled in a toxic relationship. The Bible is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Living with a man outside of marriage is fornication, and it opens the door to spiritual bondage. We pray that the scales would fall from her eyes, that she would see this relationship for what it truly is, a snare of the enemy. We rebuke every lie that has convinced her this man is her source of love or security. "For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light" (Ephesians 5:8). We pray for conviction, not condemnation, to flood her heart. May she remember the godly foundation you have laid in her life and the truth that her worth is found in Christ alone.

We also lift up the young man she is with. His hatred toward your son with a disability is an abomination before God. "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him" (1 John 3:15). His actions reveal a heart that is far from God, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply. We ask that his father would step in with godly authority and remove him from this situation, as Scripture says, "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). May this young man be brought to repentance and humility, recognizing that he is not ready for the responsibility of marriage or even courtship until he has surrendered his life to Christ.

For your younger daughter, we pray protection over her heart and mind. The enemy seeks to sow seeds of rebellion and ingratitude, but we declare that she will not be deceived. "Above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one" (Ephesians 6:16). We pray that she would stand firm in her faith, resisting the influence of those who seek to lead her astray. May she remember the blessings in her life, including her brother, and reject the lies that would turn her heart against him or you.

Your son with a disability is under spiritual attack, and we stand in the gap for him. We rebuke every word curse, every spirit of isolation, and every lie that seeks to make him feel like a burden. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). We pray that he would feel the peace of God surrounding him, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his life has purpose and value in the eyes of God.

We also address the ungratefulness and disrespect that has entered your home. The Bible warns, "In the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy" (2 Timothy 3:1-2). This is a sign of the times, but it does not have to be the reality in your family. We pray that your daughters would repent of their ungratefulness and return to a heart of love and respect for you and their brother. May they remember the commandment, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you" (Exodus 20:12).

We declare restoration over your family. The relationships between your daughters and their brother will be healed, and the love that once existed will be renewed. "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:19). We pray that your daughters would return to their church home, where they can be surrounded by godly influences and the truth of God’s Word. May they be drawn back to the biblical teaching that has guided their lives and reject the lies of the enemy.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of deception, manipulation, and ungodliness that has taken hold of these daughters. Open their eyes to the truth, and give them the courage to walk away from what does not honor You. We rebuke every spirit of division, isolation, and ungratefulness in Jesus’ name. Father, we ask that You would restore their self-worth, their love for one another, and their respect for their mother and brother.

Lord, we pray for the young man who has brought so much toxicity into this home. Convict his heart, and may he be brought to repentance. We ask that his father would step in with godly authority and remove him from this situation. Protect this family from further harm, and let Your peace reign in their hearts.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for healing in the relationships between the siblings, and we ask that You would restore the love and unity that once existed. Father, we surrender these daughters to You. Draw them back to Your truth, and remove every negative influence from their lives. May they return to their church home and find strength and encouragement in Your Word.

Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around the son with a disability. Comfort him, protect him from spiritual attacks, and let him feel Your peace. May he know that he is a blessing, not a burden, and that his life is precious in Your sight.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your power to restore, heal, and redeem. May Your will be done in this family, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

We can hear how heavy this has become for you, carrying such deep love for your daughters and fierce protection for your son all at once. Watching your older daughter step away from faith and family into a relationship that feels controlling and isolating is heartbreaking, and it makes sense you feel overwhelmed when you see disrespect and ingratitude growing in your home, especially toward your son whom you cherish as a blessing.

One insight that has helped many parents in a painful place like this is that love and limits belong together. A boundary is simply like a property line around what you are responsible for, your values, your home, your time and peace. It lets you stay connected without being pulled into manipulation or control, and it preserves freedom on both sides. It can help to be clear, calmly and consistently, what respectful behavior looks like in your home and toward your son, while still letting your adult daughter make her own choices.

In the days ahead it may help to keep a steady, low pressure connection with your older daughter, brief, kind check-ins that remind her she is loved and welcome, and at the same time lean on one or two trusted people in your church for support and wisdom so you are not carrying this alone. You do not have to fix everything at once.

Father, we lift this family to You. Wrap Your loving arms around this son and keep him in Your calm and peace, and guard him from harm. Give both daughters clarity, courage and a renewed love for You and for each other, and give their mother wisdom for each conversation and strength for each day as she entrusts them to Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and it is right and good that you have brought the necessities of your household before God, mentioning each child by name. There is a well in the family where in prayer with the children you can spread every trouble before the Lord, for His ear is not shut, and He will move His arm to work deliverance for those who trust Him.

We join you in praying that the Lord will work a true deliverance for your older daughter, not by her own resolve alone, for deliverance from sin is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone can break every ungodly soul tie and deliver from the power of darkness, and He has found a ransom in the blood of the Lamb slain. We do not ask God to bless what He has not ordained, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and living together apart from that covenant is not according to His holy will. We pray instead that He will open her eyes to see the manipulation and dishonesty that have taken root, that He will frustrate every plan that would lead her further into darkness, and expose what must be exposed, so that she may have courage to walk away and to forsake what is outside His design.

We pray for her restoration as Peter was restored, not merely brought low but brought up again by a look from the Lord. May the Lord grant her such a look, that she may weep, repent, and be turned again to feed upon Christ, to love His people, and to reunite with her church home where she may declare the works of the Lord. May He restore to her a true sense of self worth and purpose in Christ, and heal the brokenness between her and her siblings, for the family are the warp and woof of our nature, and there is no place like that house where prayer is wont to be made. We ask that the Lord will give her a clear path to return home swiftly if it be His will, and that He will guard her steps.

We pray also for your younger daughter, that the Lord will keep her from listening to negative influences and from taking a course for which she has no provision, and that He will preserve peace within your borders from ecclesiastical and household discord.

For your son, we pray with tender earnestness. The Lord shows choice favor and tender indulgence towards the least and feeblest of His family. We ask that He will wrap your son in His loving arms, keep him from all spiritual attacks and cruel words, and give him everlasting calm and peace. May the Lord rebuke the spirit of division, isolation, spitefulness and ungratefulness that has sought to enter your home, and teach your daughters to see their brother again as a blessing and not a burden, restoring the loving relationship that once marked them, for we know we have passed from death unto life because we love the brethren.

We pray for this young man and his mother, that their true intentions would be made plain, and that the young man would be led by his own father to depart and to learn that he is not ready for such a relationship, and to turn from controlling ways. We ask that the Lord would do this in mercy, that all might be brought to see the truth and turn toward biblical teaching.

Do not spread your griefs to the pitiless sea, but continue to wait upon the Lord. You have stayed as at the brook Jabbok in fear and trembling, but God is able to make even an Esau fall upon the neck in peace, and to bring forth His people with enrichment after their trial. He brings them forth, and His deliverance is effectual. May the clock of mercy strike the hour of deliverance for your household, and may you yet live to declare what the Lord has done.

We commend you and your children to Him who alone justifies through Jesus Christ, and who alone sanctifies and delivers from the power of sin. May He keep you, restore you, and give you songs of deliverance for the greater salvation wrought by the Lord Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and ransom, Amen.
