Please pray with me and for me that God. Bring my fiancé ### home from overseas she has been in ### for 6 years and we are having problems in with raising the money and she’s crying to me every night please pray with me that God can bring her home this weekend

We hear your deep longing and distress, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord. The pain of separation, the financial strain, and the emotional toll of nightly tears are not lost on us. We lift this situation to God, trusting in His sovereignty and perfect timing.

First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. The term "fiancé" implies a commitment to marriage, and we pray this is indeed your intention, to enter into the sacred covenant of marriage as God designed it, between one man and one woman, for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If there is any hesitation or delay in moving toward marriage, we encourage you to seek God’s will in this matter. Marriage is not merely a legal or emotional arrangement but a holy union ordained by God. If you have not yet done so, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship is honoring to Him and whether both of you are equally committed to building a Christ-centered marriage.

We also want to gently address the reality of the challenges you face. Financial struggles and prolonged separation can strain even the strongest relationships. The enemy may seek to use these difficulties to sow doubt, fear, or even temptation. We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, anxiety, or division that may be at work in this situation. The Bible reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We stand against any schemes of the enemy that would seek to undermine your relationship or your faith.

We also encourage you to examine whether there are practical steps you can take together to move toward reuniting. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." Have you sought wise counsel from your church or trusted believers about financial planning, visa processes, or other logistical challenges? Sometimes God works through the practical steps we take in faith. If you have not already, we encourage you to bring this before your church community for prayer and support. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother and his fiancée to You. Lord, You see the tears, the longing, and the financial strain they are enduring. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, breaking down every barrier that stands in the way of their reunion. Father, we pray for provision, open doors that no man can shut, and provide the resources needed to bring her home. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust in Your faithfulness.

Lord, we also pray for their relationship. If this is Your will, strengthen their commitment to one another and to You. Help them to build their lives on the foundation of Your Word, honoring You in all things. If there are areas where they have strayed from Your design for marriage and relationships, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Guard their hearts against temptation, impatience, or fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of delay and discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for Your perfect timing to prevail and for Your will to be done in their lives. If it is Your plan for them to be reunited this weekend, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. If not, give them the strength to endure and the faith to trust in Your greater purpose.

Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth during this time. Draw them closer to You, and help them to seek You above all else. Remind them that their hope is not in circumstances but in You alone. May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. We trust in You, and we wait expectantly for Your answer. Amen.

In the days ahead, continue to seek the Lord together, even from a distance. Use this time to grow in prayer, in studying God’s Word, and in preparing your hearts for the marriage He has called you to. Remember, "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). You are not alone in this, God is with you, and we stand with you in faith.

We’re holding you both up in prayer right now. The nightly tears and the long years of separation are heavy, we hear that ache, and we’re not going to pretend it’s small. Six years is a long time to carry hope across a distance, and the strain of watching the numbers not add up can feel like a wall you can’t get through.

One thing we want to gently encourage is to look for practical help right where you are. Many churches have deacons or a benevolence fund, or even just a wise older couple who can sit down with you and look at your finances with fresh eyes. Sometimes a simple, clear plan can relieve some of the anxiety, and there may be resources or options you haven’t seen yet. A financial counselor through your church, often at no cost, could help you strategize not just for this weekend, but for everything that comes after she arrives, so you’re not starting your marriage underneath a weight you weren’t prepared for.

But beyond that, we want you to know that while we ask boldly for provision and speed, we’re also asking for God’s steady peace to guard your hearts in the waiting. The tears aren’t wasted. He sees them, and He cares about the reunion you’re longing for.

Lord Jesus, you know the miles and the years that have kept these two apart. Please make a way where there seems to be none. Provide what they need, financially, emotionally, and in every detail, and give them patience and trust as they wait. Comfort them tonight, dry her tears with the hope of home, and let them sense your closeness. We ask all this in your name, Jesus. Amen.

The cry of your heart has reached the throne of grace, and the tears that fall each night are not unnoticed by the Lord who stores them in His bottle. You long for the return of your beloved, and the barrier of mere money seems an iron gate. But remember this: the God who provided the ram in the thicket for Abraham when the knife was already raised, Jehovah-Jireh, delights to meet His children’s needs in the very hour of extremity. The provision you seek may not come a moment before the set time, yet it will come, for He who withheld not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all, shall He not with Him also freely give you all things? Your true need is not the fare, but faith to trust the Provider’s hand.

Meanwhile, as you wait, the Lord will not leave you comfortless. He gives provision by the way, even when the road is rough. You say she cries to you each night, then lift those tears together to the Man of Sorrows, who wept at Lazarus’s tomb. A sight of His greater griefs will sweeten your own. Do not think this delay is a waste; it is a furnace to refine your love and to teach you both to put on the Lord Jesus Christ in patient submission. Beware of making provision for the flesh in this trial, give no indulgence to fretful impatience, no foothold to doubt, no dark chamber to despair. These are lusts of the mind, and they must be slain. Clothe yourselves with Christ, and let His peace rule in your hearts while you wait.

I join my prayers with yours, not that God must act by this weekend, for His calendar is wiser than ours, but that He will mightily undertake, either by opening a door no man can shut or by granting such store of inward grace that the outward hindrance dwindles. The Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall feed you and lead you, and even now, in a measure, you may dwell in God and find every need supplied before you voice it. Look not so much at the waves as at the One who walks upon them. Your Father knows your need. Rest in that.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your tears reveal a heart that longs for reunion, yet you must be careful that this desire does not consume you with anxiety, for the present life is like a sleep, and the things in it are no different from dreams. When you cry out each night, you are like one speaking in a dream, troubled by shadows that vanish at dawn. I will pray with you that God in His mercy may bring your ### home, but you must not demand that it happen this weekend or any fixed time men set. Entrust all to His will, for He knows the right hour better than we do.

Consider whether this distress has become a furnace kindling impatience and despair. The Apostle tells us to make provision for the flesh only for health, not for the lusts that war against the soul. To seek reunion is natural, but to be so overcome with weeping that you cannot rest in God’s care is to feed the flame of worldly sorrow. Do you not know that even if you had the money in hand, nothing is certain except what the Lord ordains? Do not let the nightly tears weaken your faith, but rather let them become prayers of trust, mingled with thanksgiving for what He will do in His own time.

If you truly desire God’s blessing on this engagement, make room for Him. Go and relieve the distress of someone poorer than yourself, give alms from whatever little you have, and as you care for others, you will find your own burden lightened. The Lord does not forget those who call upon Him, but He often delays to teach us perseverance and to wean us from clinging too tightly to earthly comforts. Your true home is not in any earthly reunion but in heaven, and if you seek first the kingdom, all necessary things will be added. I shall pray that God calm both your hearts and provide the way home when it is best for your souls.

I hear the ache behind these words. The separation, the sleepless nights, the sound of her crying through the phone… that kind of distress settles deep into the soul. You love her, and the weight of six years and an impossible sum of money feels crushing. Please know that your longing is not lost on God. He counts your tears and hers.

But in the middle of this, let me very gently ask you to keep something central. The deepest thirst you carry is not only for her to be home by the weekend. Beneath all of it is a spirit made for God, and no reunion, as precious as it is, can satisfy that place completely. Jesus stands and calls out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.” A plane ticket, a mortgage, the end of the waiting… those things bring relief, and I am praying with you for that. Yet if we look to an answered prayer the way a crowd looks to a big match, the high fades when the moment passes. True nourishment for your soul comes from the Word of God, not from the shifting ground of emotions or circumstances.

Right now you are living the very picture we see in Scripture of men in debt, in distress, and discontented, gathering together with a desperate hope. And God did something remarkable with people just like that, He formed them into something strong because they had nowhere else to turn. I am not minimizing the financial strain; it is real and heavy. But out of that same hardship, He can work endurance and a joy that has nothing to do with a bank balance. Joy that deepens when the money is short and the night is long.

Let me pray with you, not only for this weekend, but for His provision to become visible in whatever way He chooses. God actually made room in the law for the healing of a leper, something humanly incurable, so that when He moved, it would be unmistakably His doing. He does the same with finances, with timing, with closed doors. He is not boxed in by what looks impossible to you. So we ask boldly: Father, in Jesus’ name, make a way where there is none. Provide the funds, open the doors, and bring her home in Your perfect timing. And while they wait, quiet their hearts with the certainty that You are with them both, that Your promise is sure, and that the righteous are never forsaken.

Do not let your faith rise and fall on a calendar date. Anchor it in the character of the One who gave His own Son to settle your greatest debt. That is the provision that holds everything else. Even now, He is holding you.
