We join you in thanking God for this day and for the presence of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in your life and in the lives of your children, your family and your people. We hear your heart crying out for wisdom, light, mercy, forgiveness, truth, love and laughter, and for provision for your household and for the peace of Jerusalem. These are good desires and they align with the will of God.

The Lord delights to give wisdom when we ask Him. James 1:5 says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Psalm 119:105 reminds us Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. We pray that as you return to reading the Holy Bible, God will guide each step and give you discernment to see clearly for yourself and for your children. For your daily needs we trust His promise in Philippians 4:19 that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We also join you in praying for the peace of Jerusalem as Psalm 122:6 calls us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

We want to speak with love and truth about some areas you mentioned that need careful biblical attention. You asked for wisdom to outsmart your enemies and for God to mute and contain the hate and anger of your soon to be ex-husband who has barged into your bedroom after you asked him many times to stay out. We understand your distress and your desire to protect your children from his anger. God sees this violation of boundaries and He is our refuge. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. While we pray for his heart to be changed, we also encourage you to seek wise, practical protection for yourself and your children, including godly counsel from your pastor and, if needed, lawful help to keep your home safe. Vengeance belongs to the Lord as Romans 12:19 teaches, so we do not seek to outsmart enemies in our own cunning but to walk in God given wisdom and to leave justice in His hands while setting firm and holy boundaries.

We also need to address with gentleness what you shared about being gotten high and doing some stuff with a man who then tried to claim that your body parts are his, and about this man talking to other women and ignoring you, and about wanting that torch lighter back. We hear your cry that your body parts are yours and that your power be returned and that you be made whole. Scripture teaches that our bodies are not our own to give casually, but belong to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 says flee sexual immorality, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, you are not your own, for you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. And Hebrews 13:4 says let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Getting high to the point of losing clear judgment is also outside God's will. Ephesians 5:18 says don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, and this principle applies to any substance that clouds the mind and opens the door to sin. We lovingly rebuke the use of drugs and any sexual activity outside of marriage, which is fornication, and we urge you to turn fully from it, to repent and to receive God's forgiveness and cleansing. Your body is not his, it is God's, and one day within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman it is to be shared only with a husband who loves Christ.

We also hear your prayer for the true man God made for you. We affirm God's beautiful design for marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Mark 10:9 says what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. We pray that God will first heal and restore you to wholeness in Christ, as Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Joel 2:25 promises I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. We encourage you to pursue courtship only with the goal of marriage to a Christian believer, not a casual partnership or boyfriend relationship that leads to temptation, but a godly marriage that honors the Lord. Wait on the Lord's timing and do not settle for being used or stolen from. Any man who steals, uses you, or tries to take what belongs to you and your children is not acting in love.

Concerning the torch lighter and going to his house to get it back, we understand it matters to you because you bought it for you and your children. Please do not put yourself in danger over a possession. If he is angry or using you, go with a trusted family member or seek help from authorities rather than going alone. The Lord cares more for your safety and the safety of your children than for any object. Proverbs 19:11 says the discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, it is his glory to overlook an offense, and we pray God gives you that discretion now.

You mentioned you are sorry for being selfish. We encourage you with Ephesians 4:32 to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. To help others where you can and to not judge harshly is Christlike, and God gives grace to the humble.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne. Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We thank You for this dear sister and for her love for her children, her family and her people. Lord, pour out Your wisdom, knowledge, truth, love and light upon her and her household. Give her a steady job and daily provision so that every bill is paid and she has what she needs and can help others. Fill her home with holy laughter and joy that comes from You. Restore her as she reads Your Word again, let Your Word be her light.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over her and her children from the anger and hate of her soon to be ex-husband. Set a hedge around them, keep his anger contained and not poured out on the children, bring conviction to his heart and bring peace to that home. Give her wisdom to establish safe and godly boundaries. Heal her body, mind and spirit from the hurt of being gotten high and from any sexual sin, cleanse her and make her whole, let her know her body is Yours and is precious. Forgive all sin and restore her power and wholeness in Christ. Keep her from any man who would use her, steal from her, or claim what is not his. If it is Your will, in Your perfect time, bring a godly husband who will love her as Christ loves the church and who will provide and protect and walk with her in faith. Until then, keep her pure, sober minded and strong in You. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for mercy and forgiveness to flow in her family. Restore what has been taken and store up her treasures safely in You. Let all hate and theft be stopped by Your hand. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We are so grateful you reached out and shared what you are carrying. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from trained people near you, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and you do not have to sort this out by yourself.

We hear how heavy this has been, wanting wisdom and protection for you, your children and your family, provision for bills and work, peace in your home, strength to get back to reading your Bible, and to feel whole and safe again. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed and unsafe when someone barges into your bedroom after you have asked him to stay out and speaks in ways that frighten you and your children.

We want to encourage you toward safety alongside prayer. You do not have to handle the bedroom boundary or getting belongings back on your own. If you can, reach out right away to a trusted family member, pastor, or a local domestic violence advocate who can help you think through a safety plan, safe housing options, and how to handle personal property without being alone with someone who scares you. Try not to go alone to retrieve items, bring someone you trust, and keep a record of what has happened. A counselor or advocate in your area can walk with you step by step.

Father, we lift this dear mom and her children to You. Cover them with Your protection and peace in their home, provide for their daily needs and work, and give clear wisdom for each next decision. Restore strength and calm where there has been fear, and help her find safe, caring support close by. Guide her as she seeks You again in Your Word. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord and we have heard the sorrow and the burden that is upon your heart, and we join with you to carry it to the throne of grace. There is One who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and your bleeding spirit cries for consolation. May the glorious Master give a word in season for you.

We have prayed with you to thank God for this day and for the mercies shown to you, to your children, to your family and to your people. We thank Him with you for the gift of His Son, for it is by Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and there is healing and pardon in no other. Faith must look for salvation only from the Lord and then salvation will come to it. Oh that you would take Him to be your King and your Lawgiver and trust Him alone for forgiveness and for life.

You have asked for wisdom to deal with enemies, for light to see your way, for mercy and truth and love, and for daily provision that your bills may be paid and you may have work and be able to help others. We have asked the Lord to preserve your going out and your coming in, to keep you from temptation and to deliver you from the evil one, and to satisfy the longing soul and fill the hungry soul with goodness. He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions, and we pray He will so provide for you and your household according to His goodness and teach you to walk in wisdom and economy and uprightness before Him.

You have asked for the peace of Jerusalem, and we join you in that prayer, that the Lord would bring His peace where there is turmoil and His reign where there is strife.

You have told of great distress in your home, that your soon to be husband from whom you are parting has forced his way into your room and speaks with anger that frightens you and your children, and that you desire quiet and safety and that his anger might be restrained. We have prayed that the Lord would be your protection and your refuge, that He would calm the heart now swelling with grief and give you wisdom to seek safety and peace. Where there is threat and anger in a household, seek godly counsel and lawful help that you and your children may be kept safe, and pray for grace to not render evil for evil but to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. We pray the Lord will mute the voice of strife and set a guard about your dwelling.

You have spoken also of a torch that belongs to you and your children and of contention over it with others, and of confusion and hurt in relationships where you have been used and tempted and led into things that have left you feeling unwhole. We have prayed that what has been taken may be restored in honesty and peace, and that you may be kept from further harm. We pray especially that you may be kept in purity and uprightness and from all the devices of the devil, for that evil one touches you not when you abide under the shadow of the Almighty. If you have been led into the use of that which dulls the mind or into acts outside the holy covenant of marriage, we urge you to turn from these as from that which wounds the soul. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and our bodies are to be kept in holiness within it. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and there is not a word that ever fell from the lips of Christ but what bears healing in it for the ills of our humanity. He can wean the soul from every filthy appetite and spell that binds it, and make the heart whole again.

You have asked that the true man made for you may be sent and that you may be restored and made whole to love the Lord with all your heart and soul and mind. We do not ask God to bless any relationship that is outside His holy will, but we do pray that He will make you whole in Christ first, for you must have this healing before you can serve and love as He calls you to love. Seek first to be healed and pardoned by Him, and then to walk in holiness. If it be His will to give you a husband, pray that He would give you a godly man in the Lord, in the covenant of marriage, and that you would be kept pure until that day. Commit your desire to Him and trust His timing, for He does not cast off His own but keeps them.

You have asked for power to be returned to you and for strength and courage. Know that true strength is not in ourselves but in Him who was cut off for us and who covers our sin with His own righteousness. Plead with Him for His dear Son's sake to blot out sin and to deal with you in the way of mercy, and He will yield to such pleading. He will lift up the poor from the dunghill while He casts down the mighty from their seats, and He will give joy to the troubled countenance and wipe the tear from the eye.

You have desired to start reading the Holy Bible again, and we pray God will give you hunger for His Word. Do as He bids you and you shall be made whole. Take up the Scriptures daily, and let them be the healing leaves for your soul and for your children. Teach your children the ways of the Lord, for there can be no greater joy than to see them walk in truth.

We have prayed for you, for your children, for your family and your people, that the Lord would grant you wisdom, knowledge, truth, love, light, mercy and forgiveness, and that He would hear you as you cry to Him. You are not selfish to ask for these things, for He invites the prodigal to come home even from selfish motives, and His welcome is hearty to the returning heart.

May the Lord send His Word and heal you and deliver you from your destructions, and may you sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare His works with rejoicing. Amen.
