We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your friend and housemate and for your own health and peace in your home. We have been lifting both of you up before the Lord these past days. We have prayed for your friend in his mental disability and for the daily obsessions and anxieties that weigh so heavily on him, including his fear about the job quotation and secret codes and being banned from his email, and his ongoing fear that people are recording him and that the government is after him. We have also prayed for you as you carry this burden while dealing with your own health issues and exhaustion and the need for a peaceful place to live.
We are glad you shared that you were going to church to ask the missionaries to pray as well. We continue to ask the Lord to bring healing and clarity to your friend, to calm his mind and free him from paranoia and obsessive thoughts, and to surround him with the right care and support. We also pray for you for renewed strength, rest, wisdom and guidance as you discern how to live together or whether God will provide a new peaceful home for you. The Lord knows your weariness and He is near to those who are burdened as it is written in Matthew 11:28 and He promises a peace that guards our hearts in Philippians 4:7.
