Beloved of All
I would like immediate emergency prayers for my family. My brother has severe mental illness and won't stop yelling at my mom please Jesus Christ help him to stop yelling and saying offensive things screaming loudly and saying bad things about my uncle. He is screaming so loudly the neibours complain. Jesus Christ please heal him my mom won't leave him she promised she would live with me she never does we already tried everything calling police she refuses help several times. Help her go find a way he is very angry all the time and thinks he's correct to yell at mom often say awful things. We tried pastors, missionaries, doctors and even my cousins to get mom out of there she refuses but she wants to move with me but never does Jesus please help her I'm also tired to witness that and heal them from black magic that people threatened my family.

We hear the heaviness and urgency in your heart and we join with you right now lifting your family before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. We know how exhausting and painful it is to watch someone you love suffer and to see your mother endure constant yelling and hurtful words while feeling helpless to change it, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ for help, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true healing and deliverance.

The Lord sees what is happening in your home and He is close to those who are suffering. Psalm 34:18 says The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We pray for your brother's healing, for your mother's protection and courage, and for your own peace as you carry this burden.

We want to speak gently but truthfully about what you have described. Even when a person struggles with severe mental illness, it is not right or pleasing to God to yell at his mother, to speak offensively, to scream so loudly that neighbors complain, and to say awful things about family. Scripture is clear that we are to honor our father and mother, Exodus 20:12 and Ephesians 6:2, and that our words should build up and not tear down. Ephesians 4:29 says Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Anger that controls a person and leads to continual verbal abuse is not from God, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We pray that your brother will come to see his behavior as harmful, that God will bring conviction and repentance, and that God will grant him a sound mind, emotional healing, and the right medical and spiritual help he needs. We also understand that mental illness is a real affliction that requires compassion, ongoing care from doctors and counselors, and patient love, and we pray the Lord will guide you to the right help and open doors where pastors, missionaries, doctors and family have not yet been able to bring change.

We also lift up your mother to the Lord. We understand your deep desire for her to live with you in peace and safety, and how discouraging it is when she says she wants to move but never does and refuses help even when you have called the police and sought support. We pray God will grant her wisdom and clarity, James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask God to protect her, to give her strength to set healthy and loving boundaries, and to show her when it is necessary to step away for her own safety. While we cannot force another adult to make a choice, we can continue to love her, keep the door open, keep praying, and keep offering practical help without enabling the abuse to continue. If there is ever immediate danger, please continue to seek emergency help and wise counsel from trusted pastors and professionals even if she has refused before, for God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1.

You also mentioned fear about black magic and threats against your family. We want to encourage you not to live in fear, for in Christ we have complete authority and protection over all darkness. 1 John 4:4 says You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. Colossians 1:13 says who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love. Romans 8:38-39 assures us that nothing can separate us from God's love in Christ Jesus. No threat, no curse, and no weapon formed against you can prosper when you are covered by the blood of Jesus, Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke all fear and any work of the enemy over your family and we pray for God's perfect peace to guard your hearts, for Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift this precious family to You. Lord, we ask You to touch this brother with Your healing hand, to calm his mind, to quiet his anger, to cleanse his lips from offensive and hurtful speech, and to fill him with Your love, self-control and peace. Heal him completely, body, mind and spirit, and lead him to the help he needs. Lord, protect this dear mother, surround her with Your angels, give her courage and wisdom to make decisions that honor You and protect her well-being, and make a way where there seems to be no way for her to find safety and rest. Comfort the one who has submitted this request, who is tired from witnessing this pain, renew their strength, Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Let Your peace that passes all understanding guard their heart. We break all fear of black magic and every threat in Jesus' name and declare that Your love and power reign over this home. Let Your will be done and let Your healing and reconciliation come. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your burdens to Jesus daily, to stay connected to a Bible believing church for support and prayer, to continue working with medical professionals and trusted counselors for your brother's illness, and to care for your own heart by resting in the Lord and seeking godly counsel for yourself when you feel weary. Keep the door of love open for your mother while also maintaining healthy boundaries, and trust that God is working even when you cannot yet see the answer. We are continuing to pray with you for healing, peace in your home, and a clear path forward for your mother and your whole family.

We have been holding you and your family before the Lord as we read your request, and we can hear how heavy and exhausting this has been for you.

To love your mom and your brother and to hear that constant yelling day after day, to have tried police, pastors, doctors and family and still feel stuck, would leave anyone tired and worried. It makes sense that you feel torn watching your mom say she wants to move with you and then not being able to leave, and that you are concerned for both of them and for your neighbors as well.

Verbal attacks wear down everyone in a home, and when someone is struggling with serious mental illness it can be especially confusing because you love him and also need safety and quiet. We are glad you have already reached out for help, and we encourage you to keep a trusted person close to you for ongoing support, whether a pastor, counselor, or doctor who knows your family. If shouting ever feels threatening or unsafe, please reach out right away to local help or trusted support, and continue to encourage your mom and brother to stay connected to medical care alongside prayer.

We also hear your fear about threats of black magic. We pray for your family's peace and protection and for freedom from fear as you rest in Christ's care.

Father in Jesus' name we lift this family to You. Bring safety and calm to this home, give wisdom for next decisions, comfort this tired heart, and draw this mom and brother toward the care they need. Give them Your peace and guide them step by step. Amen.

This is a huge season of testing, I pray that you keep your faith in the Lord.

I pray that the Lord softens his heart and brings him to Jesus so he can calm down, I also pray for the people practising witchcraft can repent in Jesus mighty name, aemn!

Your burden has been brought before the Lord and we have heard your cry with deep compassion. To watch a brother so tormented in mind that he yells and speaks grievous things, to see a mother worn down and yet unwilling to leave, and to feel yourself weary with witnessing it day after day, is a heavy trial. The Lord sees it all, and He hears the prayers of His people even when the house is filled with noise and distress.

We join you in prayer to our gracious Father through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other mediator between God and man.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this family. Lay Thy healing hand upon this brother who is so angry and troubled in mind, quiet his spirit, restrain his tongue, and bring him to soundness of thought and peace. Have mercy upon his mother, protect her, give her wisdom and strength, and make a way for her where she sees no way. Comfort this dear one who has prayed and labored and grown weary, and let them know that Thou art near to those who call upon Thee in truth. Let the fear of threatened evil and of black magic be broken, for Christ has triumphed over all darkness, and those who are in Him need not fear any curse, for greater is He that is in us than any power in this world. Grant to this household Thy peace which passes all understanding, and draw each heart to seek Christ for themselves, for family piety cannot stand in the place of personal godliness, and each soul must come to Christ for itself and receive from His fullness. In Jesus name we ask it, Amen.

Take heart that you have not prayed in vain. The Scriptures teach us that those who belong to the family of God have this never failing mark, that they are led by the Spirit of God and they come to the Father in prayer. Continue then in private prayer and in family prayer as God enables you, for family prayer is the nutriment of family piety and private prayer diligently and spiritually maintained is a great means of grace. Do not look for deliverance by dreams or visions, but look to Christ Himself, from whom alone we receive grace upon grace.

We would also urge you with love to keep seeking wise and steady help. Severe mental illness is a great affliction that often requires patient, ongoing care from doctors and others whom God has given for our good. If there is danger or threat in the home, do not face it alone. Keep your pastor and faithful mature believers near you, let them know the state of things plainly, and seek their counsel and presence. Where safety is at risk, it is right to seek the help of proper authorities again, even if help has been refused before. Love for your mother and your brother is shown not only in enduring but in seeking what is truly best for their safety and health, even when they resist it.

Your mother has said she desires to live with you, yet she remains. This is a painful disappointment. Continue to show her honor and love, speak the truth gently, keep the door open, and set a calm and clear boundary about what you can and cannot bear to witness. Pray that the Lord will work in her will, for as with Noah, the covenant promise was sure, yet each one acted in freedom and chose to enter the ark. God can incline the heart to choose what is wise and safe.

As for the fear of black magic, remember that those who are in Christ are His own, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper in the ultimate sense. No curse can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Rest not in the power of darkness, but in the power of Christ who has overcome it. Seek not deliverance from any other source, but from Him alone.

May the Lord keep you, give you rest in your weariness, and fill you from the fullness of Christ. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and He will not leave His own without help in the time of need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
