We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer through Jesus Christ.
We are truly grateful for the encouraging praise you shared, that after the previous prayers you saw a real improvement in your housemate and caregiver, that he became calmer and stopped trying to act as your therapist, and that the atmosphere in your home became more peaceful. We give thanks to Jesus Christ with you for that answer to prayer.
We have continued to bring before the Lord your new concern for him as your best friend and brother like companion who lives in a completely separate bedroom. We are praying in Jesus Name for his wellbeing, for the concerning change you described around his birthday when he had no desire to go bowling or to a restaurant or to share a simple meal and celebration at home together, and for the deep sadness you felt sitting alone in the living room while the sandwiches and cake waited and he remained at his computer. We are praying that God brings peace and stability to his mind, restores his ability to find pleasure in healthy and ordinary joys like games and films and time together that he once loved, and protects him from the heavy fixation on the court case against his former employer that now consumes so much of his thought. We pray that the Lord grants him wisdom regarding that large legal claim, helps him to find balance so that one matter does not take over his entire life, and helps him to accept whatever outcome is right. We also lift up his estrangement from his mother and family and pray for healing and for wisdom, and we pray that the treatment and support he receives as an autistic man will be fully appropriate and that any need for additional help will be clearly shown and provided at the right time. We remember the promise that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 and that He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast in Isaiah 26:3.
We are also continuing to pray for you in Jesus Name. We pray for your health and strength as you live with disability and find the emotional strain and the effort of organizing even a simple celebration exhausting, and for the loneliness you felt on that birthday. We pray for peace in your home after all you have endured with the severe flooding and long displacement, and for wisdom and provision as you continue to live together for now while seeking suitable work and financial means. We pray that the Lord gives you clear understanding of what is your responsibility and what is not, helps you to continue to show kindness and respect without carrying the burden of fixing his happiness or health, and guards your own peace. We ask God to open the right doors for work and for provision, and that when the timing is right Jesus Christ will make a way for you to afford a safe quiet and stable one bedroom home of your own where you can live in peace, according to His will. We pray that He will guide both of you forward and that His peace which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as in Phil 4:7, and we cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us as in 1 Peter 5:7.
