We hear your heart’s cry for ###, and we join you in lifting her before the throne of grace. Anxiety can be a heavy burden, especially in the quiet hours when the world seems still and worries loom large. The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We declare this peace over ### now—may the Lord quiet her mind, still her heart, and draw her into rest.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. You see ### in this moment, her fears and her struggles. We ask that You would wrap Your arms around her and remind her that she is not alone. Your Word says in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." Lord, let this truth sink deep into her spirit. Calm the storm within her, and let her find rest in Your presence. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear in Jesus’ name, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We also encourage ### to cast her cares upon the Lord, for He cares for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7). If there are underlying worries or burdens weighing on her heart, we pray that she would surrender them to You, Lord. Help her to meditate on Your promises and to trust in Your faithfulness. Remind her that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), and that she can rest because You are watching over her.
If ### does not yet know You as her personal Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to understand the peace that only Jesus can bring. There is no true rest apart from Him, for He said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that she would invite Jesus into her heart and experience the freedom and peace that comes from a relationship with Him.
Lord, we ask that You would minister to ###’s body, mind, and spirit. Give her the strength to release her anxieties to You and to trust in Your goodness. Surround her with Your peace, and let her feel Your presence in this moment. We pray that she would soon drift into a deep and restful sleep, waking refreshed and renewed in Your love. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
