Prayers needed

Beloved of All
Please pray we will not go into debt that we can pay off bills and are financially blessed. Pray the lord God will help up and keep us.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for financial provision and wisdom. The weight of debt and unpaid bills can feel crushing, but we know that our God is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We must also acknowledge the importance of stewardship and wisdom in financial matters. The Word warns us that "the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7) and instructs us to "owe no man anything, except to love one another" (Romans 13:8). Let us pray not just for provision, but for the discipline to manage what God entrusts to us wisely, avoiding the snares of debt and impulsive spending.

Father God, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide for every need, Lord, and give supernatural wisdom to manage resources well. Break the chains of financial bondage and release this family into the freedom of Your provision. Help them to trust in You and not in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17), and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We also pray for contentment in whatever circumstances they face, remembering that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). Guard their hearts against the love of money, which is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and fill them instead with gratitude for Your daily bread.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas where spending habits, lack of budgeting, or unwise decisions may be contributing to this struggle. Grant repentance where needed and a renewed commitment to honor You with their finances (Proverbs 3:9-10). May they experience Your faithfulness as they walk in obedience to Your Word.

Above all, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your promises. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Shepherd, and that they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). In every financial decision, may they seek Your will and Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. Amen.

We hear the weight in your request, the desire to stay out of debt, pay what’s owed, and simply be able to breathe without the pressure of bills piling up. You’re not alone in that concern, and we’re joining you in bringing it before the Lord.

In seasons like this, we’ve seen that pairing prayer with a practical step can bring steady ground under your feet. If you haven’t already, it may help to connect with someone who can walk through your finances with you. Many communities have free or low-cost financial counselors, and some churches offer budget coaching. Even a simple, honest look at the numbers with a trusted person can clear away the fog, help you build a manageable plan, and give you concrete hope that you’re moving in the right direction.

Above all, we trust that God sees your situation. He doesn’t ask you to carry this anxiety alone, but to lean into Him day by day for wisdom and provision, even when the way forward isn’t fully clear yet.

Lord, we lift up these friends who are facing financial strain. Please supply what they need, give them wisdom to handle their resources well, and protect them from falling into overwhelming debt. Grant them peace that isn’t dependent on the bank balance, and steady their hearts as they take one faithful step at a time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I can almost see you sitting here, the weight of numbers pressing on your mind, bills to pay, obligations mounting, the specter of debt lurking at the door. Your heart whispers the very words you wrote: Please pray we will not go into debt. That fear is real, and it sets your spirit trembling. But here is what I would say to you, softly and earnestly: the Lord who made heaven and earth has given meat unto them that fear Him, and He will be ever mindful of His covenant.

Do not think that your temporal needs are beneath His notice. The same God who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies has pledged Himself to care for His own. The cattle on a thousand hills are His, and not one of His children shall starve. I speak from experience, and many a saint could tell you the same, the road behind us is strewn with mercies, with supplies that arrived exactly when needed, sometimes before we even knew to ask. He has given meat; He has given bread; He has given the very breath in your lungs. Will He now forget the account on your kitchen table? He cannot. His honour is bound up in His promise.

But I want to lift your eyes higher still, for the deepest blessing is not the money in the purse, it is the cleansing that only He can give. You see, God begins to deal with His people while they are yet in their trouble, not waiting until they have sorted everything out. He comes to us in our defilement, in our anxiety, in our very sense of insufficiency, and He says, Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean. The covenant He has made with you in Christ Jesus is not a bargain you must keep by your own strength; it is a flood of grace that washes over you just as you are. And if He has undertaken to cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols, will He not also undertake to keep your feet from slipping into the pit of debt? The greater blessing guarantees the lesser.

I know the slow, creeping dread of financial strain. It can feel like a foggy English morning where you cannot tell if the sun has truly risen. But hear me: the sun has risen. There is a moment when His disc appears above the horizon, and for you who trust in Christ, that moment has come. You are not in the dark. You may only have a little grey light now, a tiny gleam of hope, but the full day will break. In the meantime, bless the Lord. Stir yourself up to do it. Say to your own soul, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. There is in-door work to be done while you wait for the outward provision. Praise Him for His character, His faithfulness, His tender mercy, His unchangeable truth. Thank Him that He has already blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. That is your inheritance, and no creditor can touch it.

So here is my counsel: sit still for a moment and let your heart be silent unto God. Then speak, tell Him you trust Him for the bills, for the provision, for the keeping. And then rise and go about your day as one who is blessed of the Lord that made heaven and earth. The blessing of your spiritual Father rests upon you, and that is no empty word. It is a rich legacy, a heritage that cannot be spent or lost. You are not a child of Hagar under the law’s curse; you are a child of promise, born after the Spirit, and the covenant is sure.

Now let me commend you to that faithful God. Lord Jesus, You who did not spare Your own life for us, will You not also freely give us all things? Look upon this dear soul and quiet every fear. Open Your hand and supply every need, that the wolf of debt may be kept from the door and peace may reign within these walls. And more than that, sprinkle clean water upon them, and give them a heart to bless You in the waiting. For Your name’s sake, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your financial needs before the Lord, asking Him to shield you from debt, to provide for every bill, and to open the windows of heaven with His blessings. We have prayed in faith that God would steady your hands, guide your decisions, and fill your home with peace as you trust in Him.

If the Lord has already answered your prayer—if bills are paid, resources have come in, and you stand on solid ground—please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. There is nothing that stirs our faith like hearing how God moves on behalf of His children.

If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t yet come, we encourage you to post this request again. We will continue to stand with you, believing God for breakthrough, provision, and His perfect timing. Sometimes the Lord allows us to wait so our trust in Him grows deeper, and sometimes He is already working in ways we cannot yet see.

Whatever your situation, keep seeking Him. Keep honoring Him with your finances and your faith. We believe God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think. May He bless you richly, meet every need according to His riches in glory, and draw you closer to His heart as you walk this journey.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
