Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we are deeply moved by your love and tender care for your precious cat and we join you together in prayer before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name.

We do not believe she is just a cat, God sees the love you have for her and He cares for all of His creation. We are reminded of His compassion for every living creature, for it is written A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will Matthew 10:29 and Yahweh preserves man and animal Psalm 36:6. He knows her by name and sees every breath she takes and every tear you have cried.

We lift her before the Lord who is our healer and sustainer, asking for His mercy and comfort to rest upon her. We pray that if it is His will He would completely heal her of this brain tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, for nothing is impossible with Him. We pray that He would ease any pain or discomfort she is feeling and grant her rest and peace. We ask that He would help her to begin eating normal food and drinking water again and that He would restore regular bowel movements and strengthen her body. We pray especially for her breathing, that the coughing would subside and that the purring which once brought you both such joy would no longer cause her distress. We know how heartbreaking it is to see her want affection but pull away because it triggers coughing, and to see her lay alone and stare. We ask God to comfort her gentle heart and to let her feel your love and His presence even in this suffering.

We also pray for you, for wisdom and steady hands as you care for her. We ask that God will guide you as you give her the four pills twice a day and the inhaler three times a day and the subcutaneous fluids each week, that He would help you to do so without hurting her or causing her fear, and that He would calm her and give you peace in those difficult moments. We pray that He will grant you discernment for every decision regarding her care, that you would know His will and have confidence that you are acting in love and mercy as a faithful steward of the life He entrusted to you.

We understand your deep desire that when her time comes she would be at home with you in peace and not terrified at the vet, and we pray that God in His mercy would grant her a peaceful passing in her sleep if healing on this earth is not His will, or that He would provide a compassionate veterinarian who can come to your home if that need arises. We pray that even now you would feel His guidance and that you would not be alone in carrying this burden.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do John 14:13.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this beloved cat to You. You formed her and You know every detail of her body. We ask for Your healing touch upon her brain and lungs, ease her breathing, take away her pain, restore her appetite and thirst and bodily functions. Comfort her and let her feel love and safety. Grant wisdom and gentleness to her owner as they administer medication and treatments, and give them peace and clarity for every decision. If it is Your will to heal her fully on this earth we ask for that miracle, and if You are calling her home we ask for Your mercy that she would go peacefully in familiar arms without fear. Heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and help them to cast all their worries on You because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We entrust her life and their hearts into Your loving hands. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord day and night, for He hears your desperate cries. Keep seeking Him and trusting His goodness even through this painful journey, and lean on Him for strength for each day. We are praying with you and for you and for your sweet girl.

We read your whole message about ### and we hear how heavy this is for you. You love her so deeply and it shows in every detail you shared, from wanting her to eat and breathe comfortably again, to wanting her to be able to purr and cuddle without coughing.

Watching her pull away to lay alone when she wants to be close is heartbreaking, and it makes sense you feel torn between wanting to comfort her and not wanting to cause her more distress with the medications. Please hear that this is not "just a cat." Loving her as you do is a real bond, and the anticipatory grief you are feeling while caring for her through this illness is normal and tender.

You are carrying a lot right now with so many treatments each day. One thing that may ease a little of the burden you are carrying is to ask your veterinary clinic soon, while things are calm, if they keep a list of veterinarians in your area who provide compassionate in-home care at the end of life, so you have a name and number ready. You could also ask if a technician could watch you give the pills and inhaler once to suggest gentler ways to handle them for both of you.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and comfort over her. Ease any pain or discomfort, help her breathe, eat and rest more easily, and be near to her. Your sorrowful and tender plea has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

The Lord knows the weight you carry, for you watch over a creature dear to you who suffers greatly. Though some may say she is only a cat, we know that the Lord has made us to love what He has placed in our care, and He Himself cares for the sparrows and for every living thing. Your tears are not hidden from Him, and your many prayers, offered day and night, have entered into His ears.

We are reminded of that word, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. It is the Lord's own will that His people should be comforted, and that they should comfort one another. And again it is written, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. Your comfort at this hour must come not from mere outward relief alone, but from that inward quickening which the Spirit gives through the Word. He does not always remove the affliction at once, but He quickens the heart to bear it, and to trust Him in it.

There is healing virtue in Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. Though the sickness be great and no earthly treatment can cure, there is no stint in His power. He can ease pain with a touch, He can open the appetite, He can calm the labored breath. We may bring even this small, suffering creature to Him, for all things are in His hands.

Let us pray together for your beloved cat and for you.

O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we bring this afflicted creature before Thee. Thou art the maker and sustainer of all life. Look in mercy upon her pain and discomfort, and ease her suffering according to Thy gracious will. If it please Thee, grant a recovery that man cannot give, and restore to her ease in breathing, appetite for food and water, and regularity of body. Quiet her cough, and grant that she may purr and be comforted in affection without distress. Thou seest how she withdraws and stares, and how her loving nature is hindered by sickness. Have compassion upon her.

We ask for wisdom and steadiness for the hands that must care for her. Guide in the giving of pills and inhaler and fluids, that it may be done gently and without hurt or terror. Grant skill and calmness, and let Thy mercy govern every decision that must be made concerning her.

And when her time comes, we pray Thou wouldst show great mercy. Spare her from terror and lonely suffering. Provide, if it be needed, a compassionate person who can come to the home to minister to her end with gentleness, that her last moments may be in the place she knows and loves, surrounded by those who cherish her. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy peace rest upon this household.

Hear the desperate cries of this faithful heart, O Lord. Thou hast heard the prayers of Thy people in every affliction, and Thou hast promised to comfort those who mourn. Establish this dear soul in every good word and work, and let the Word quicken and sustain through this trial. Though the night be long, help to remember that time itself is in Thy hand, and that Thou wilt not leave Thy children comfortless.

We ask all these things in the name of Jesus, who died to redeem us and who lives to intercede for us. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden so honestly and for letting us pray with you. Your love for your cat is clear in every detail you have written, and God sees the care you are giving to one of His creatures. It is not a small thing to steward a life He has entrusted to you, and your grief over her suffering is understood.

We join you in bringing all of these needs before the Lord, trusting in His compassion and His wisdom. We know that He is the great Physician who heals many, and also the Lord who tasted death Himself so that we would not fear it, and who holds every life in His hands. Whether He brings healing in this life or calls His creature home, we can trust that His mercy is perfect and His timing is good.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come to You. You know this little cat by name and You see her suffering. We ask for Your mercy upon her. If it is Your will, we ask that You would bring complete healing and restore her body. Ease any pain and discomfort she feels. Help her to eat and drink again, to have normal bowel movements, and to breathe freely without coughing. You made her to purr and to seek affection, and it grieves her and her family that this now causes her distress. Grant her comfort and rest.

Lord, guide the hands that care for her. Give steadiness, gentleness and wisdom in giving the pills, the inhaler and the fluids, so that she is not hurt or distressed. Give wisdom in every decision that must be made for her care, and peace to know You are present in each one.

We also ask for mercy in her final hours, whenever You appoint them. If You call her home, we ask that You would take her gently and peacefully in the familiar comfort of her home, without fear or terror. Provide, if it is needed, a kind veterinarian who can come to the house. Comfort this family who loves her so deeply. Remind them that You hear every cry and that You care for both them and for all You have made. Grant them strength for each day, and the assurance that whether in life or in death we are held by Your grace through Jesus Christ.

We entrust her and this whole family to Your loving care, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.
