Beloved of All
I have a prayer request. And I am sure it will not sound important . My ### has a bocce tournament tomorrow morning. She was not able to make a couple of the weekly games. They said if everyone shows up tomorrow. She will not be able to play. My ### has down syndrome. And she loves playing. My husband and I do not know what to say or do to her tomorrow if everyone else shows up. And she will not be able to play.I am asking you Jesus please let her be able to play. It is one of the highlights of her life. Thank you all

We hear your heart in this request and we join with you in bringing your precious daughter before the Lord. Please be assured that this is important and no prayer is too small for our Father to hear. He sees your love for her and He loves her even more deeply than you do.

We are reminded of how wonderfully He has made her. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. Psalm 139:13-14. She is fearfully and wonderfully made and her joy in playing brings glory to God who created her with such a beautiful spirit. Jesus has a special love for children and we cling to His words, But Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14.

We also understand your anxiety as parents not knowing what to say to her if she is not able to play. We take comfort in the promise, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. And we know that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this dear daughter You have entrusted to this family and for the joy she finds in playing bocce. We thank You for her life and for the way You have formed her. Lord we lift up tomorrow morning's tournament to You. If it is Your will, we ask that You would make a way for her to play and to experience that highlight in her life. We pray for the coaches and organizers that You would give them wisdom and compassion. Above all we ask for Your will to be done and for Your peace to rest on this family. If she is not able to play, guard her heart from disappointment and let her feel how deeply she is loved and valued by You and by her parents. Give her mother and father the right words, gentle and honest, to comfort her and to remind her that her worth is not in a game but in being Your beloved child. Help them to prepare her heart tonight and to have a plan to celebrate her and encourage her no matter the outcome. We trust that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to gently prepare her heart tonight while still hoping for the best. Remind her how proud you are of her effort and how much God loves her whether she plays or watches. You might speak with the coordinator beforehand if possible to understand the plan clearly so you are not caught by surprise. And have a special way to honor her tomorrow regardless of what happens, perhaps a favorite activity or time together afterward to show her that she is celebrated. We are praying that God will give you peace and give her joy tomorrow and that His love will be evident to her in every moment.

Thank you for trusting us with this. We can hear how much you love your daughter and how bright bocce is in her life. It makes sense you are carrying this worry tonight, wondering how to explain something that feels so disappointing and how to protect her joy tomorrow.

A couple of gentle ideas that may ease the morning a bit. If you are able, a quick check in with the organizer tonight or early before the tournament could clarify how they handle extra players and whether there is any chance for rotation or even a short turn if the roster is full. It also helps to have a simple plan together as a family for either outcome so you are not deciding in the moment. You might think through a few calm, loving words you could use if she cannot play, like reminding her how proud you are of her effort and how much her team enjoys having her there, and having something kind planned right after, whether she plays or not, so the day still holds something to look forward to together.

We are praying with you for peace for all of you tomorrow and for wisdom for those leading the tournament.

Father, we lift this dear daughter and her parents to you. You know her delight in playing and her parents tender care for her. Give them rest tonight, clear guidance in the morning, and loving words that help her feel seen and cherished no matter what happens. Let her know how deeply she is valued and loved. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Awe I love people with down syndrome may Father God bless your bond and love for eachother. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

There is no prayer too small to bring before our heavenly Father, and the love which moves you to plead for your daughter is precious in His sight. You need not fear that this request sounds unimportant. What touches the heart of a child, and what causes heaviness to a mother and father, touches the heart of God who numbers the hairs of our heads and who has shown His tender care for children in giving us His own holy Child, Jesus, to be bone of our bone and brother to us.

We have made special prayer for you and for your daughter, as the church in the house of Mary made instant and earnest prayer for Peter. We have asked the Lord that if it be His gracious will, room may be found for her to play tomorrow and that her joy in the game, which is one of the highlights of her life, may be granted to her. We know that He who made her and loves her more deeply than even you can, sees her delight and her disappointment, and we ask Him in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone we have access to the Father, to deal kindly and gently with her.

And we have prayed also for you, her parents, that whatever tomorrow brings, you may be given wisdom and grace in that hour. If the Lord in His providence should order that she must wait and not play this time, pray that He would make her soul even as a weaned child, as David says in Psalm 131. The weaned child frets no longer for what is withheld, but rests content upon the bosom of love. So may the Lord quiet her heart and yours, and show you what words to speak that shall be full of truth and tenderness, not sinning against the child by false promises nor by harshness, but leading her to know that she is loved, valued, and not forgotten, both by you and by God.

Do not sin against the child by thinking her small sorrows are unseen by God. He regards the lowly. Teach her, as you are able, that her worth is not in whether she plays or sits out, but in being fearfully and wonderfully made and beloved by Him who preserves His own. Tell her simply and lovingly what has happened, assure her of your love which does not change with a game, and remind her that the Lord Jesus, the holy Child who humbled Himself to play and to dwell among the lowly, is near to her.

May the Lord grant you peace in this trial and make this a time of special fellowship with Him. We ask for you the benediction of Jude, mercy unto you, and peace, and love be multiplied, and that whether in playing or in waiting, your daughter and your household may feel the keeping hand of God and be content in His will. We will continue to remember you before the throne of grace.
