Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of hope and faith, lifting up our brother ### in prayer. Lord, he has expressed a deep desire for a relationship with ###, desiring to build a future together that honors You. We ask that You guide both ### and ### according to Your will and purpose for their lives.
Father, Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that ### places his complete trust in You, seeking Your guidance and wisdom in this matter. May he not rely solely on his own desires, but seek Your perfect will.
Lord, we also pray for ###, that she may have clarity and discernment. If it is Your will for them to be together, we ask that You open her heart to ### and bless their union with love, understanding, and mutual respect. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." We pray that their relationship, if it is Your will, embodies this kind of love.
We trust in Your divine timing and plan, Lord. May ### and ### seek to glorify You in all aspects of their relationship. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
