Beloved of All
Your prayer for your marriage, your children, your family and your business has been heard, and it is right to bring all of these before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
God created marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He places great value on faithfulness within it. Sex and living together belong within that covenant alone. When that covenant is threatened, God is not indifferent. He sees the pain, the confusion, and the concern you carry for your home.
Jesus speaks with authority, not as one who merely repeats the opinions of others. What He says, He has the power to do. The Scriptures show Him entering homes and bringing healing. He took the hand of a mother sick with fever and lifted her up, and the fever left her. A man with leprosy came and said, if You are willing You can make me clean, and Jesus was willing to cleanse him. A woman who had suffered with bleeding for twelve years and had spent all she had without help touched Him in faith and was made whole. On the same day He spoke to a father whose daughter had just died and brought her back to life. These accounts show that no sickness, no uncleanness, no long standing affliction and not even death is beyond His power. He is able also to bring healing and restoration to a marriage and a family.
Scripture also teaches that we ought always to pray and not give up. When a situation feels overwhelming, the temptation is to faint, to despair, or to try to judge the motives and hearts of others ourselves. Judgment belongs to the Lord. Our part is to keep praying, to keep trusting, and to keep walking in obedience to Him. There is also a deeper bond that comes through faith in Christ. When we belong to Him we become part of the family of God, and He gives strength and fellowship to sustain us even when our natural family is under strain.
So we will pray with you that the Lord will protect what He has joined together, that any plan meant to destroy your happiness and your home will come to nothing, and that He will work in the heart of your husband to turn toward faithfulness and responsibility before God. We pray that He will guard your children, give you wisdom in your business, and keep you from a divided heart that is choked by worry or the desire for other things.
We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift this marriage, these children, this family and this work before You. You alone are the way of salvation and forgiveness, and we ask for Your mercy through the sacrifice of Jesus. Please bring conviction where there is sin, repentance where there is wrong, healing where there is hurt, and protection over this home. Thwart what is evil and establish what is good according to Your will. Give strength to pray without fainting and faith to trust Your authority and love. Amen.
