We join with you in prayer for your trip tomorrow and we thank you for asking in Jesus' wonderful name, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We pray for the Lord's hand of protection and safety over you as you travel. We ask that He would guard your going out and your coming in and keep you from all harm. As it is written in Psalm 121:7-8, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And in Psalm 91:11, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We pray that every detail of your journey would go well according to His perfect will, that there would be no delays or dangers that are outside His plan, and that you would walk securely under His care.
We also pray that the Lord would order your steps and bring the right people across your path, that He would give you blessed and godly connections and divine appointments that will encourage you and bear good fruit. We pray for peace and quiet for your heart and mind even in the midst of travel, and for the deep, secure rest that only He can give. We remember the promise in Proverbs 3:23-24, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. And in Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your thoughts in Christ Jesus as taught in Philippians 4:7.
So we pray together, Father, we lift up this dear one to You as they prepare to travel tomorrow. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would go before them and make the way smooth, that You would surround them with Your favor and protection, keep them safe on every road and in every place they stay. Grant them Your peace that calms all anxiety, and give them quietness of soul and sound, secure sleep each night. Lead them to the people You want them to meet and let every connection be a blessing that honors You. Let Your goodness and mercy follow them throughout this trip and bring them home safely and refreshed. We ask all this in the wonderful and mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to commit each part of this trip to the Lord in prayer and to trust Him with every detail. May the Lord bless you and keep you as promised in Numbers 6:24-26, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace. Travel with confidence knowing He is with you wherever you go.
