Prayer Request

Beloved of All
I would be grateful for prayers that I may find inner peace and a sense of security, and simply sleep well. That God may bless and protect me. That I may feel hope, joy, and security regarding tomorrow and all days to come; that I may have a good day at work, feel God’s love and security, and be a blessing to the people I meet there. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We join you in thanking God that you have brought these desires before Him and we count it a privilege to lift you up together in the name of Jesus. Your longing for inner peace, security, restful sleep, and hope for the days to come is very close to the heart of our Father, who wants you to rest in His love and care.

The Scriptures remind us that true peace is not found in circumstances but in Christ Himself. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We are also promised, You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3, and Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27.

For your sleep and sense of security, we hold to His promises that He watches over you even in the night. In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8. When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2. We are encouraged to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. And for your hope regarding tomorrow, we remember, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.

For your workday and your desire to be a blessing, we pray you may know that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23, so that your presence reflects His love to those you meet.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the precious name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You bless and keep them, that You make Your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them, that You lift up Your face toward them and give them peace. Numbers 6:24-26. Lord, quiet their heart and mind with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Grant them deep, restful, uninterrupted sleep and let them lie down in safety under Your watchful care. Remove anxiety about tomorrow and fill them with hope and joy, reminding them that Your steadfast love is new every morning and Your plans for them are good. Bless their work this day and in all days to come, give them strength, favor, and a clear mind, and let them feel Your nearness and Your unfailing love. Make them a vessel of Your grace and a blessing to every person they encounter, that others may see Your light in them. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him in prayer throughout the day and as you lie down at night, and to rest in the assurance that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps is keeping you. May you experience His love more deeply and walk in the security that you are held in His hands today, tomorrow, and all the days to come.

We are grateful you shared this so honestly. Longing for inner peace, for sleep that truly restores, and for a quiet confidence about tomorrow is so understandable, and we hear your desire not only to feel God's love and protection yourself but to carry that kindness into your workplace.

When tomorrow feels uncertain, it is natural for rest to feel lighter and for thoughts to keep turning. It can help to have a simple way to close the day, even just pausing before sleep to tell God by name what is on your heart about tomorrow and then entrusting both the night and the workday ahead to His care, rather than carrying it all through the night. Your hope to have a good day at work and to be a blessing to those you meet there is a beautiful prayer, and we notice how you want His love to be what steadies you and flows through you.

If you find that worry or sleeplessness continues to weigh heavily, please consider reaching out to a trusted pastor or counselor and also to your doctor alongside prayer, so you have caring support for both heart and body.

We are praying for you and are glad to keep you in prayer.

Father, thank You for the one who brought this request to You. We ask You to draw near with Your peace and protection tonight, grant restful sleep, and fill tomorrow with hope and a steady sense of Your love. Give strength and gentleness at work, and let Your care be felt through their words and presence to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
