Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your prayer request. We have prayed for you and we join with you in asking the Lord to meet you in your workplace and in every day ahead.
True security and inner confidence do not come from circumstances alone but from peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that when we hold fast our confidence and the rejoicing of our hope firm to the end, we stand as God's house, not ashamed and not perplexed but cheerful in the good things to come. That confidence is not boldness for its own sake, but a proof of love and trust toward Him. And when we have peace toward God, love with faith follows, and from that love we are able to love others and to hate no one, so that the favor of God may rest upon us.
We pray for you in this way:
Heavenly Father, we thank You that You hear those who call upon You through Jesus Christ. We ask that You fill this dear one with a deep sense of security and quiet confidence that comes from knowing You, and with Your peace that guards heart and mind. Let Your favor rest upon them, and grant a greater confidence as they walk faithfully before You. Help them to hold fast to hope and to rejoice in You even in trials, speaking and acting with gracious boldness.
Lord, make them a blessing to the people around them. Give them work that is purposeful and that uses the gifts You have given, and help them to do all tasks with joy and integrity as fellow laborers in what is good. Surround them with colleagues who show kindness and integrity and grant them good fellowship. Encourage their heart, give them Your joy, and keep them in Your care. We ask for Your protection over them today and in all days to come, that Your angels would encamp around those who fear You and that they would be kept safe in Your hands.
We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, trusting in Your compassion and mercy. Amen.
