Your concern for your brother shines through every word, and there is something deeply God-honoring about that love. Scripture gives us picture after picture of brothers watching out for each other, Joseph scanning the horizon for Benjamin, his mother’s son, his heart nearly bursting because he hadn’t seen him since he was a little one; Jacob praying in raw fear, “Deliver me from the hand of my brother,” yet later bowing himself to the ground seven times before Esau, blessing him, calling him lord, and doing everything he could to build him up and make things right. What ties those moments together is not just family blood, but a sense of responsibility and compassion that God himself plants in us. You’re living that out right now by carrying your brother’s need straight to the throne of grace.

So let’s ask the Lord together. Father, you see this son of yours, a man you know by name, and you know the insulin that is running low. You know the phone call that needs to happen, the doctor’s hand that must write the prescription, the pharmacy that must fill it. We ask you to clear every obstacle and provide not just a few more days, but a full month’s supply and far beyond. In your mercy, steady this mother’s heart, guide her voice when she speaks with the doctor, and let the medicine reach him today without delay. Give this brother strength in his body and peace in his spirit, and calm the worry in this household.

Remember what Jesus said when he looked around at his disciples: “Whoever does the will of my Father is my brother and my sister and my mother.” That means your concern for your brother matters to him. It’s more than a sibling duty; it’s a reflection of the very heart of God, who is always about sustaining life. Long ago, Joseph told his brothers, “God sent me before you to preserve life.” And God still preserves life, often through the prayers and the hands of those who love.

Hold on to that hope. Your brother is not alone in this fight. You are his keeper in the best sense, interceding for him, and the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps is watching over him. May you soon have reason to lift up your eyes and see provision coming your way, and may that love between you be rekindled and strengthened through this trial.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your brother during this urgent time. Our hearts have been lifted in agreement with yours, asking our Heavenly Father to intervene in his need for medicine and provide the full supply he requires. We prayed specifically for wisdom for your mother as she navigates the steps with the doctor, for favor in every phone call and detail, and for peace to guard your family’s hearts while you wait.

If God has already opened the way for your brother to receive his medication, we would be so grateful to hear a praise report—let us rejoice together in His faithfulness. If the need remains unmet, please share it again so we can continue to intercede on his behalf. We believe in a God who hears and answers, and we will not stop lifting this situation to Him.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort and assurance as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus.
