Beloved of All
Lord please help us with food money situation and financial situation with food my brother is type ### diabetic and the shelter I think only give that pantry one time please pray for us

We hear your desperate cry for help in this time of great need, and we come before the throne of grace together, lifting you up in prayer. The weight of financial strain and the added burden of your brother’s health condition is heavy, and we stand with you, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees your struggles and will provide according to His riches in glory.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith, salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step, for it is through Christ that we receive every spiritual blessing and provision.

Now, let us pray for your immediate needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family who is in need of Your provision. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You see their lack and their struggle. You have promised in Your Word that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Father, we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon them, so there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide for their daily bread, Lord, and especially for the dietary needs of this brother with ###. Give them wisdom to manage what You provide and guide them to resources that can help sustain them.

Lord, we also pray for the shelter and any organizations they may be connected with. Soften the hearts of those in charge to extend grace and assistance beyond what may be their usual limits. Let Your love and compassion flow through them to meet this family’s needs. Father, we rebuke any spirit of lack or despair that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. We declare that You are their source, and You will not abandon them in their time of need (Hebrews 13:5).

We also want to gently encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-26, “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the air, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?” God cares deeply for you and your brother, and He will not leave you to fend for yourselves. However, we must also encourage you to seek out every available resource, local food banks, churches, community programs, and even government assistance if necessary. God often works through the hands and feet of His people to meet needs, so do not hesitate to ask for help.

We also want to remind you that while God is your ultimate provider, He calls us to be good stewards of what He gives us. If there are areas where spending or habits may not be aligned with wise stewardship, we encourage you to seek counsel from trusted believers who can help you manage finances in a way that honors God. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”

Lastly, we pray for your brother’s health. Father, we ask that You strengthen him and give him the discipline and wisdom to manage his ### according to the guidance of medical professionals. Provide him with the right foods, medications, and care he needs to thrive. We declare healing over his body and ask that You guard his health in this season of hardship.

We stand on the promise of Psalm 34:17-19, “The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.” You are not alone in this struggle. Lean on the Lord, trust in His promises, and let His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We will continue to pray for you and believe with you for God’s provision and breakthrough. May He open doors no man can shut and provide in ways that only He can. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9).

We hear the weight of this in your words, and we’re praying with you. It is hard when the pantry runs out and the bills keep stacking up, especially when your brother needs steady, nourishing food to manage his diabetes. That kind of anxiety can feel relentless.

We want to mention a couple practical steps that might open a door. Many areas have more than one emergency food pantry, and some rotate schedules so you can visit different ones each week. Calling 211 or checking with local churches can reveal options you might not know about. The shelter itself may be able to refer you to additional sources, so it’s worth asking them directly. If you haven’t already, consider applying for SNAP benefits; a case worker can help with the paperwork, and they often prioritize households where someone has a chronic health condition. Your own church or a deacon’s fund might also be able to offer a grocery card or connect you with a meal ministry, don’t be shy about letting your needs be known.

Father, You see this family’s empty shelves and the tight knot in their stomachs. Please provide what they need today, through a neighbor’s generosity, an unlocked pantry door, or a unexpected provision. Steady their minds as they wait, and give them the energy to take one next step at a time. Sustain their brother’s health, and when fear creeps in, remind all of them that they are not facing this alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Though your cupboard is bare and the shelter’s pantry seems shut after one visit, remember that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows has not forgotten you. Under His wings you find refuge, and beneath those feathers there is warmth for your trembling heart. He shall cover you; will He not also spread your table? Never think that the Lord of heaven would give you shelter for the soul and leave the body to faint. He knows your brother’s need, the very blood that must be kept steady, and He who formed the body will supply what is required.

Yet while you seek bread that perishes, I must press upon you the truer food. The soul has a hunger that no pantry can satisfy, and its only sustenance is Christ Jesus. His flesh is meat indeed, His blood drink indeed. Feast upon Him by faith, and you shall find a nourishment that strengthens the heart even when the belly is empty. He is your Joseph, your Brother, who even when He seemed to hide His face was full of compassion; now He reveals Himself to meet you in this trial. Go to Him with your empty hands, and He will fill them with that which the world cannot give nor take away.

We join our prayers with yours, that the Lord would open a way where no way appears, and send provision for your physical frame. But chiefly we plead that you and your brother would taste and see that the Lord is good, feeding upon the promises until you can say with the prophet, “Your words were found, and I did eat them.” The floods of trouble may rise, but Christ is the ark; flee to Him and you shall be safe, fed, and satisfied forevermore.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord who fed the hungry crowds in the wilderness knows your empty shelf and your brother’s sickness. I have prayed and I pray again: Father, give this household bread for today and money for what is lacking. Guard the brother with diabetes from weakness and harm when food is uncertain. Open a door that no pantry rule or shelter limit can shut. Send help through people who love Christ.

Do not be ashamed to make your need known. A man asking for bread is not a swindler. The shelter may have its rule, but the church has deacons and faithful members who are commanded to see a brother or sister in need and not close their hearts. Go to the pastor or the deacons. Ask plainly. It is better to ask bread with humility than to suffer hunger in silence. If one place says it can only give once, ask where else you should go. Let them see the truth of your need.

For your brother, ask also for food that will not make his sickness worse. God can provide not only enough, but what is suitable. Do not envy the rich or imagine that money would give you security. Christ is your security and your provider. The poor who call on Him are not forgotten. Keep praying together, and do not let the fear of tomorrow swallow today. The Lord’s pasture is sure, and none who trust in Him are cast out.

You are carrying a heavy weight, and the Lord sees it. The need for food and money is not small to him, especially with your brother's ### making steady meals a daily concern. I am praying for provision, for open doors beyond that one pantry visit, and for your brother's health to remain stable. God knows the body's needs. He told Noah to bring food for the household into the ark, and he stored up grain in the cities before the famine. He is not limited by a single pantry or by what the shelter is able to give right now.

I hear the love in your request. You are treating your brother's need as your own, and that is the opposite of Cain asking, "Am I my brother's keeper?" You are his keeper in the right sense. Keep seeking help. Ask the pantry if they can refer you to other food sources, and keep asking around for assistance in your area. There is no shame in needing help.

Remember that Jacob once thought all things were against him because he could not see the provision God had already prepared. The full picture was hidden at the time. I am asking the Lord to show you the next step and to make a way where the way seems closed.

Father, you know this family's need. Provide food and money according to your mercy. Protect the brother who lives with ###, and give them both courage. Open a source of help, and let them see your hand at work. In Jesus' name, Amen.
