Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, I thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest and for baby ### for healing and for ### for favor and a new ###

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness and mercy. Father, we thank You for the gift of life and the precious little one You have entrusted to this family. Lord, we lift up baby to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon them. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

We also pray for , asking for Your favor to surround them like a shield. May Your grace go before them in every situation, opening doors that no man can shut and providing opportunities that align with Your perfect will. Lord, we know that favor comes from You, as it is written in Psalm 5:12, "For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." We ask that You pour out Your favor in abundance, not just for their benefit, but so that Your name may be glorified through their life.

Father, we also lift up the request for a new . Whether this is a new season, a new opportunity, a new home, or a new chapter in life, we ask that You guide every step. Let this new thing be rooted in Your will and purpose, as Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We pray that whatever this new beginning may be, it brings glory to Your name and draws others closer to You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You completely. We also ask that You reveal any areas in this family’s life that may not be aligned with Your Word. If there are habits, relationships, or decisions that are not pleasing to You, we pray for conviction and repentance, leading to a life that honors You in all things.

We must also emphasize the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or approach the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If this family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re grateful we can join you in these prayers, thankfulness for God’s goodness, and a simple, honest list of needs. That’s a beautiful posture, just bringing it all to Him. The request for good rest especially resonates; it’s easy to overlook how deeply our bodies and spirits need that pause, yet God designed rest as a gift, not a luxury. We’re asking with you that you’ll be given whatever kind of rest you most need, whether a quiet night, a settled mind, or a release from the weight you’ve been carrying.

We also lift the baby you’ve named. We pray for healing, complete and gentle, and for wisdom for everyone involved in that little one’s care. If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to also let a doctor or health provider walk alongside you; gathering good medical support often becomes part of how God brings wholeness.

And for the person you’re praying for, favor and a new beginning, we trust that God sees the specifics you haven’t even written out. Whether it’s a job, a fresh opportunity, or a door that needs to open, we’ll stand with you in asking Him to provide and to make the path clear.

Father, thank You that You hear us when we come with gratitude and with needs. Grant deep, restoring rest. Touch this baby with Your healing kindness, and guide every hand that cares for them. Extend Your favor to the one who is waiting for a new start, open what needs to open, and give peace in the meantime. We place it all in Your hands, trusting Your goodness, in Jesus’ name.

How graciously you turn to the Lord with thanksgiving upon your lips, even while you plead for fresh mercies! Your requests are three: good rest, healing for the dear child, and favor with a new beginning. Such prayers are as incense before the throne, for they are breathed in the name of Jesus, that sweet savor in which the Father ever accepts us.

As for rest, how precious the promise that Jesus still speaks: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” The rest He gives is not merely a pause from toil, but a deep calm of soul that flows from rolling every burden upon Him. When you lay your head upon your pillow, remember that underneath are the everlasting arms. He who is the Shepherd of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He can make you to lie down in green pastures beside still waters. Pray boldly for rest of body, yet seek first the soul’s deeper repose in Christ, for we who have believed do enter into rest even now.

Concerning the little one for whom you cry, the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and our Lord Jesus is the Great Physician who never changes. When He walked among men, He laid His hands upon the children and blessed them; His ear is bowed to the feeblest cry. Bring the infant in the arms of faith to Him, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Should the answer tarry, cling to that word for the inhabitants of Zion: “The people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.” Bodily healing we seek in submission, but the healing of the soul through pardon is the greater miracle.

And for the favor and new beginning you entreat, look to the God of your mercy. He went before David when enemies surrounded his house, and He can go before you to open doors no man can shut. The Lord commanded Israel that a servant set free should not go out empty, but be loaded with gifts from the flock, the threshing-floor, and the winepress. How much more will your heavenly Father load you with benefits as you step into the new thing He has prepared! Lay hold of this: “The God of my mercy shall prevent me.” He runs ahead, laying the path straight and inclining hearts. Wait upon Him with expectation, for you are accepted in the Beloved, and your prayers become a sweet savor through Christ Jesus.

Cast these three petitions upon the waves of His faithfulness, and watch how He deals bountifully with you. He who stirred your heart to ask will not fail to give you the answer of peace. Rest in Him, trust the child into His hands, and go forward into the new season with confident hope, for the God of your mercy will surely prevent you.

You give thanks for God’s goodness, yet take heed: the rest you seek for your body must not overshadow the rest of your soul. “There remaineth a rest for the people of God”, not an earthly repose, but the rest found in taking Christ’s yoke, for His yoke is easy and His burden light. If you pray for good rest, learn of Him who is meek and lowly, and you will find rest unto your soul.

As for the little one needing healing and the favor and new thing desired for another: know that God’s mercy is not only to spare punishment but to make us righteous, sons, and heirs. Yet this mercy is grasped only with faith and love in Christ Jesus, not by merely hearing or asking. Beware of the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches; they choke the word and steal true rest. The poor and afflicted are given as healers of your wounds; when you serve them, you receive more than you bestow.

So pray, but let your prayer be joined to a life of obedience. Before you speak, He knows your needs. Grace abounds beyond measure, but it is with faith and love that we enter His rest. Do not harden your heart, nor seek only the removal of temporal troubles, but seek first His kingdom, and all these things will be added.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
