Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, I thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest and for baby ### for healing and for ### for favor and a new ###

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the goodness of our Heavenly Father. We lift up this precious request, asking for rest, healing, and favor in accordance with His perfect will.

First, we thank God for the gift of rest. The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." Father, we ask that You grant deep, peaceful rest to those in need. Calm every anxious thought and still every restless heart, so that bodies and minds may be refreshed and renewed in You.

For baby , we pray a prayer of healing. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." Lord, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this little one. Strengthen their body, restore their health, and surround them with Your protective love. Give wisdom and skill to the doctors and caregivers attending to them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

For , we pray for favor, favor in the eyes of others, favor in opportunities, and favor in the plans You have laid before them. Proverbs 3:4 says, "So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man." Lord, open doors that no one can shut and grant them grace in every situation. May they walk in the confidence of Your promises and the assurance of Your presence.

For the new , we ask that You guide and direct every step. Whether this is a new job, a new season, a new home, or a new relationship, we pray it would be aligned with Your will. Psalm 37:5 reminds us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." Father, let this new chapter be one of growth, blessing, and obedience to You. If it is a relationship, we pray it would be one that honors You, pursued with purity and the intention of marriage between a man and a woman who share a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of weariness, doubt, or fear that may be trying to take hold. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the truth that You are the God who heals, provides, and makes all things new.

Finally, we want to gently remind all who come before You that salvation and access to the Father come only through the name of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we encourage them to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You, trusting in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in each situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for sharing these specific needs with us. We can hear the love you carry for this little one and for your whole family, and we also sense how heavy the accumulated weight of worry over a sick baby, employment, and just plain exhaustion can feel. It is no small thing to be up with an unwell child or to press into hope when someone you love needs favor and a new door to open. We are holding all of that with you right now.

For the days ahead, we want to gently encourage you to give yourself permission to rest whenever a quiet moment appears, not as an afterthought but as a real priority. Even brief windows of stillness matter when life has been loud and full of care. You are not neglecting your responsibilities by stepping back to breathe; you are sustaining the one who loves them. And while we are praying boldly for the baby’s healing, if a fever lingers or any symptom leaves you uncertain, please do not hesitate to let a doctor take a look. Good medical care partners naturally with our prayers, and a wise checkup can bring both answers and peace of mind.

Lord Jesus, we lift this precious baby to you and ask quietly but fervently for healing, calm this little body, ease every discomfort, and restore full health. Please grant deep, restorative rest to this tired parent. Surround them with your steady presence and open the right doors of favor and a new job for their loved one at just the right time. You see every burden, and we trust your kindness to carry each one. In your name, Amen.

The desire for rest beats in the bosom of every wearied soul, and there is a rest to be found, present, perfect, and given in the very moment we come to Jesus. He who said, "Come unto me... and I will give you rest," never speaks in vain. This is no mere cessation of toil, but the repose of a heart that has cast its burden upon the Lord and taken His yoke in its place. His yoke is easy, His burden is light, and in His service the soul finds a rest that refreshes even while it labors.

For that little one who needs healing, remember that the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Pardon and healing are woven together in His hand; when He forgives, the well of bitterness is dried up, or its waters are changed into a healing draught. The distempers of the body are no barrier to His power, for in receiving the pardon purchased by His blood, there comes a new life that conquers every foe. Trust the child into those pierced hands, and rest in His wise love.

As for favor, let this be your confidence: the Lord accepts His people in that sweet savor of rest found only in Christ Jesus. When He turns toward His chosen in grace, He comes with all His heart to display favor and love. Our approach is not as slaves cowering, but as children who, even in the time of trial, rest in the everlasting arms that are our refuge. The covenant of peace is sealed with the blood of the Substitute, and God delights to bless for His sake.

And that petition left unspoken, that new thing, that fresh need, cast it upon Him who upheld Job in the day of loss and sorrow. Job sinned not with his lips, nor charged God foolishly. When we are tempted to complaint or rebellion, let us rather look to the Lord who sustains, and find that even in poverty or waiting, His grace is sufficient. Trust, and you shall rest; trust, and you shall see the favor of the Lord in the land of the living. He who has given us the one day of rest as a token will surely bring us into that eternal rest which remains for the people of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
