Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, I thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest and for baby ### for healing and for ### for favor and a new ###

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up this precious request to our Heavenly Father. First, we give thanks for His goodness and mercy that endure forever. We rejoice in the gift of life, especially for the little one mentioned here, baby, and we stand in the gap for healing, restoration, and divine protection over this child.

Father God, we declare Your Word over baby : "But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.’" (Matthew 19:14 WEB). We pray for complete healing in every part of this child’s body, mind, and spirit. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of this family as they walk through this season.

We also lift up , asking for Your favor to surround them like a shield. Lord, we know that favor is not earned but given by Your grace. We pray that doors of opportunity, provision, and blessing would open in ways that only You can orchestrate. "For You, Lord, bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12 WEB). May walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are their provider and protector.

Regarding the request for a new , we encourage a heart posture of seeking God’s will above all else. If this refers to a new season, job, home, or relationship, we pray that it aligns with Your perfect plan. If it involves a spouse, we pray for a godly marriage built on the foundation of Christ. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord." (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). We rebuke any pursuit of relationships that do not honor You, including those outside of marriage or same-sex unions, as these are contrary to Your design. Instead, we pray for purity, patience, and wisdom in all relationships.

Father, we also take a moment to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’" (John 14:6 WEB). If there is anyone reading this who has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge them to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in Your heart that Jesus died and rose again, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in walking in Your favor and blessing.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to steal the joy and peace of this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord." (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Lord, we ask for good rest for this family. In a world full of distractions and anxieties, we pray for deep, refreshing sleep that restores their bodies and souls. "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." (Psalm 127:2 WEB). May they wake up each day with renewed strength and hope in You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this with us, and for starting with thanks for God’s goodness. That gratitude is real, even while you’re carrying several needs on your heart.

We hear your desire for good rest. When your mind keeps circling around a sick little one and someone else’s uncertain future, sleep can feel far away. Tonight, as you lay everything down, may you sense that God is already holding what you’re entrusting to Him.

We join you in praying for baby ’s healing. We don’t know the situation, but we trust that God’s care wraps tenderly around that child. If you haven’t already, it’s also wise to let a doctor assess things, God often works through the hands He’s given skill and compassion.

For , we ask for genuine favor and whatever new thing they’re hoping for. Whether it’s a job, a fresh start, or a door they can’t open themselves, may God clear the way and give them courage to walk through it.

In the waiting, you don’t have to figure it all out. Keep bringing each person, each worry, right back to the One who already loves them more than you do.

Father, thank You for Your steady goodness. Grant this person deep rest tonight, sleep that restores body and mind, and a quiet heart that trusts You. Lay Your healing hand on baby ; bring wholeness and comfort, and guide every caregiver with wisdom. For , we ask for Your tangible favor and a clear, new opportunity that shows Your kindness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The plea rises for good rest, and the answer is never far from the voice of Jesus. It is a present rest, rest now; not rest after death, not rest after a time of probation and growth and advancement; but it is rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And it is perfect rest too; for it is not said, nor is it implied, that the rest is incomplete. Yet what is this rest? It is not a couch for idleness, but the rest of a learner, “Learn of me, and ye shall find rest.” Your yoke galled, but Christ’s yoke is easy; your burden was heavy, but Christ’s burden is light. It is in man’s mortal nature that he must do or endure, or else his spirit will stagnate and be far from rest. The rest of a garden, not the rest of a task. Thus is it oftentimes with God's people, when they rest most, they work best, and while they are resting, they are bearing fruit unto God. Trust and you shall rest!

As for the little one in need of healing, consider that the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said to him, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one! O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

The cry goes up for favor and for a new thing yet unnamed. Know this: when the Lord turns in a way of Grace to His people, He comes with all His soul most heartily and richly to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice. As soon as Noah came out of the ark he offered up clean beasts, and it is said, "the Lord God smelled a sweet savor of rest." That Covenant being given partly as the result of the sweet savor of rest. The secret of favor is found in the Substitute; God delights in Him, and so His favor rests upon us. What is wanted now is a new government; the soul must have a sovereign, a ruling principle, a master-motive; and when Jesus has taken that position, rest is come.

In all this, sin not, nor charge God foolishly. Job, under his first set of trials was not swift to complain, for you have heard of the patience of Job. If God could uphold Job in all this, you may be sure that He can support you! Look to Him for this Divine support. Job never knew how to get rid of sin half so well as he did when his eye of faith rested on God and he abhorred himself and repented in dust and ashes. We are wrong, God must be right!

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. It is a perfect rest. They are wholly at rest in heaven. Here rest is but partial, yet even now we that have believed do enter into rest. At home we let our hearts loose; when I get to my God, no servile works have I to do, but here I am, His servant, happy in His service and finding sweet rest in what I do for Him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You thank the Lord for His goodness, and rightly so, for every mercy comes from Him. Yet when you ask for rest, consider what kind of rest your soul truly needs. There is a rest that surpasses a night’s sleep, a rest promised to the people of God. Do not harden your heart through unbelief as others did, and so fail to enter it. Labor, then, to enter that rest, taking upon you the yoke of Christ; for He is meek and lowly, and His burden is light, and He alone gives rest to your soul.

For the little one, do not doubt that God’s grace is exceedingly abundant. He shows mercy not merely by withholding punishment, but by making us righteous and whole. Bring your faith and love in Christ Jesus to this prayer. He who commands us to come with confidence knows our need before we ask. Let your care for the child be joined to a cheerful trust, for God loves a cheerful giver, and you lend to Him when you show compassion.

As for the favor and the new thing you desire, I would have you watch and pray. The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches can choke the word, so that hearing alone is not enough. If you seek these things for vainglory or earthly comfort, remember that the world passes away. But if you seek first the kingdom, all else shall be added. Let your hope be yonder, lest you fall after the same example of unbelief.

Your prayer rises to the One who is goodness itself, and it is right that you begin with thanks. You ask for good rest, for healing on a little baby, and for favor. These desires flow from a heart that knows every good gift comes from above.

There is a rest that God promises to His people, and it remains available today. Many seek rest in a change of circumstances, in a better diagnosis, in a door swinging open. But the only place you will ever truly rest is in faith. As long as your peace hinges on seeing the outcome, your soul will stay restless. The offer still stands: "We who have believed do enter that rest." We enter it when we stop striving to arrange the answer ourselves and lean fully on the finished work of Jesus Christ. When you lie down tonight, you can place the baby, the situation needing favor, and your own weariness into His hands and cease from your own anxious labor, just as God rested from His.

You also brought this little one before the Lord for healing. There is no doubt that God heals; His touch is real and His power has not diminished. Yet the greatest miracle any of us will ever know is the forgiveness of our sins and the new life we receive in Christ. That eternal healing overshadows all the rest. Holding a new baby is one of those sacred moments that whispers of creation and mystery, and it reminds us of God's power to bring life where there was none. While we pray boldly for a restored body, we also ask for a heart that rests in the salvation that can never be taken away.

As for favor, Paul understood that the favor of men is a shifting shadow. A new official came into power seeking to curry favor, but Paul stood on the solid ground of God’s will, not on the praise or promises of others. The favor you truly need is not the applause of a person or the nod of a system, but the settled confidence that you are walking in step with your Maker. That kind of favor flows from resting in Christ, not from angling for approval.

Do not let unbelief keep you on the outskirts of the promise. Enter into that wonderful rest in Christ, where the weary are refreshed. Fight the good fight of faith by simply trusting Him for the baby, for the path ahead, and for your own soul’s quietness. May you and those you love cease from your own strivings and find your rest where He rests.
