We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness and mercy. Father, we thank You for the gift of life and the precious little one You have entrusted to this family. Lord, we lift up baby to You, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon them. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and strength. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed, and we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We also pray for , asking for Your favor to surround them like a shield. May Your grace go before them in every situation, opening doors that no man can shut and providing opportunities that align with Your perfect will. Lord, we know that favor comes from You, as it is written in Psalm 5:12, "For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield." We ask that You pour out Your favor in abundance, not just for their benefit, but so that Your name may be glorified through their life.
Father, we also lift up the request for a new . Whether this is a new season, a new opportunity, a new home, or a new chapter in life, we ask that You guide every step. Let this new thing be rooted in Your will and purpose, as Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We pray that whatever this new beginning may be, it brings glory to Your name and draws others closer to You.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that perfect love casts out fear, and we choose to trust in You completely. We also ask that You reveal any areas in this family’s life that may not be aligned with Your Word. If there are habits, relationships, or decisions that are not pleasing to You, we pray for conviction and repentance, leading to a life that honors You in all things.
We must also emphasize the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or approach the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If this family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
