Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for him and for your relationship.
We have continued to lift you both before the Lord since you shared your heart with us. We have been praying that God would watch over him and give him peace and strength and comfort, whatever he may be facing that has caused him to act differently toward you. We have asked the Lord to show him that he does not have to carry his burdens alone and to give him courage to open up and communicate honestly about what he is feeling. We have also been praying that God would remove anything creating distance between you, whether confusion or fear or pride or anger, and that He would help you both to listen with patience and speak with love and be honest without hurting one another.
We have prayed that the Lord would give you patience and wisdom while you wait for answers, that He would guard your heart from worry and fear and from assuming the worst when you do not understand what is happening, and that He would protect your relationship and guide you both according to His will. Our prayer has been that God would give you both strength and maturity to face together whatever you need to work through, and that love and honesty and trust and respect and peace would guide your relationship. We are reminded of Philippians 4:7 and Proverbs 3:5 as we pray for clarity for his heart and for your heart and for open communication between you.
We pray now together in Jesus Name that the Lord would draw you both closer to Himself and to one another, that He would bring understanding and healing where there has been distance, and that He would fill you with His peace that passes all understanding as you continue to trust Him even when you do not understand the situation. We ask that God would make a way for honest conversation in His perfect timing and that your relationship would be strengthened and guided by His will.
