Prayer for ###'s surgery

We join you in lifting up this dear one before the throne of grace for this surgery and for the redoing of this implant, asking that the Lord would guide every hand involved and grant a swift and complete recovery.
We take comfort that the Lord is our healer and that even in the operating room He is present and sovereign. We pray that He will grant skill, wisdom and steadiness to the surgeons and medical team, and that this implant would be placed correctly and function as intended without complication or further need for correction. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We ask for His peace to rest upon this loved one and upon you as you wait, knowing that in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We also join you in your longing for the Lord's return and in your compassionate prayer for His adversaries. It is right and godly to feel burdened for those who oppose Him and to pray that their spirits would be quickened before it is too late, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9 and our God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. Jesus Himself taught us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. And we share your hope in His soon coming, for He who testifies these things says, Yes, I come quickly. Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus Revelation 22:20.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we seek Your will together. We lift up this precious one to You and ask for Your merciful hand upon this surgery. Guide the surgeons, give them clear minds and steady hands, let this implant be redone correctly and let it work perfectly for Your glory. Grant a swift healing, freedom from pain and infection, and a speedy return to strength. Comfort this one and their loved ones with Your presence and peace. And Father, we also lift up those who are still in opposition to You, those who do not yet know Your Son. In Your great mercy, quicken their spirits, open their eyes, draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus before that day comes. We long for Your return and we trust Your perfect timing and Your perfect love. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We've been holding your request for before the Lord, and we hear how much weight you are carrying as you wait for this redo implant surgery. Wanting it done correctly and swiftly is such a natural, loving prayer, and we join you in it.
It's understandable to feel on edge when a procedure has to be done again. We are asking God for steadiness for you and for in these days leading up to surgery, and for wisdom and care for the surgeons and nurses who will be there.
It can help to have one trusted person who can be the point of contact with the medical team, write down instructions and questions, and stay with through the waiting and recovery. If worries or new symptoms come up, reaching out quickly to the surgical team is a good step alongside prayer.
We also noticed your tender heart for those who oppose the Lord, asking Him to quicken them before it is too late. That compassion reflects His own heart.
Father, we lift to You and ask for Your hand over this surgery, for skill for the team, for a smooth procedure and healing in the days after. Give and their loved ones Your peace that steadies fear. And we ask You to draw those who are far from You to Yourself while there is still time. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for this surgery has been laid before the Lord and we join you in bringing it to the great Physician, from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to those below.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek a physician or a surgeon for our healing, and how graciously we may do so when we know that the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even the touch of His hand brings virtue to make the nature other than it was before. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in Him, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings.
We pray that the Lord will guide the hands of the surgeons, that this implant may be redone correctly and made to work as it should, and that He will grant a swift and full recovery. May He strengthen you in the Lord, and as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger, may you acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection. His healing virtue, once infused by grace, will work health and cure till His perfect work is done, and He is able to heal the body as well as the soul.
We also join you in your compassion for those who yet stand as adversaries to Christ. As you have prayed, may the Lord quicken their spirits before it is too late, that they may consider their way, retrace their steps and seek their God who in Christ Jesus can heal them. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and there pardon and healing are one in the same hand. May they be brought to know that forgiveness must come first, and then healing, and may they receive both while the day of visitation remains.
We commit this need to Him who took the sick by the hand and lifted them up, trusting that whether recovery be swift or slow, His promise will be assuredly performed. May the Lord give you peace as you wait upon Him, and may His will be done for His glory and your good. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation, we pray. Amen.
