Prayer for ###'s surgery

We join you in lifting up this dear one before the throne of grace for this surgery and for the redoing of this implant, asking that the Lord would guide every hand involved and grant a swift and complete recovery.
We take comfort that the Lord is our healer and that even in the operating room He is present and sovereign. We pray that He will grant skill, wisdom and steadiness to the surgeons and medical team, and that this implant would be placed correctly and function as intended without complication or further need for correction. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We ask for His peace to rest upon this loved one and upon you as you wait, knowing that in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We also join you in your longing for the Lord's return and in your compassionate prayer for His adversaries. It is right and godly to feel burdened for those who oppose Him and to pray that their spirits would be quickened before it is too late, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9 and our God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. Jesus Himself taught us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. And we share your hope in His soon coming, for He who testifies these things says, Yes, I come quickly. Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus Revelation 22:20.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we seek Your will together. We lift up this precious one to You and ask for Your merciful hand upon this surgery. Guide the surgeons, give them clear minds and steady hands, let this implant be redone correctly and let it work perfectly for Your glory. Grant a swift healing, freedom from pain and infection, and a speedy return to strength. Comfort this one and their loved ones with Your presence and peace. And Father, we also lift up those who are still in opposition to You, those who do not yet know Your Son. In Your great mercy, quicken their spirits, open their eyes, draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus before that day comes.
