Prayer for ###'s grandson

We lift up your grandson before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the pain of watching a loved one battle mental struggles. The weight of such trials is not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every silent cry. We stand in the gap for him, declaring that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we ask You to wrap Your arms of comfort around this young man. Where confusion clouds his mind, let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Where darkness threatens to overwhelm, shine Your light to expose every lie of the enemy and replace it with the truth of Your Word. You promise in Isaiah 41:10 that You will strengthen, help, and uphold him with Your righteous right hand, we claim that promise now.
We rebuke every spirit of despair, anxiety, and oppression that seeks to steal his joy and purpose. In the name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, restore his mind to wholeness, just as You restored the mind of Nebuchadnezzar when he acknowledged Your sovereignty (Daniel 4:34-36). Let him know that his identity is not defined by his struggles but by the One who created him in Your image and calls him Your beloved child.
We pray for wisdom for his family as they walk alongside him. Give them patience, discernment, and words of life to speak over him. Surround him with godly mentors, counselors, and friends who will point him to You. If there are areas where he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we ask that You draw him to Yourself. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, finding hope and healing in the power of the cross.
We also ask that You provide the right resources, whether medical, spiritual, or practical, to aid in his recovery. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust You to lead him to the help he needs. Strengthen his faith to believe that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Above all, Lord, let him experience Your presence in tangible ways. May he feel Your love so deeply that it transforms his perspective and renews his strength. We declare that this season of struggle will not define him but will draw him closer to You, where true peace and purpose are found.

May we see this burden you carry for your ### and feel it deeply as well. We know how hard it is to watch someone we love fight battles we wish we could fight for them. Let's ask God to meet him right where he is, in the middle of his confusion and pain.

Let him feel Your presence so strongly that he knows he's never alone, even in the quietest moments. Give him reminders of Your love through people, circumstances, or even just a whisper in his heart.
We also ask for the right people to come alongside him, those who will listen without judgment and point him to truth. If there's any medical care or wise counsel he needs, guide him to it. Help us all to trust You more, even when healing feels slow.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious grandson during this difficult time. It has been our heart’s desire to lift him before the Lord, asking for His peace, wisdom, and healing to surround him as he navigates these mental struggles. We have prayed that God would give him strength, clarity, and comfort, and that He would guide those who are supporting him with love and discernment.
