Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. Prayer Focus: God, You are the great Physician, Healer, and Deliver. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, have mercy on all those I know who stand in need of healing and deliverance (including myself). Heal and deliver each of us from the top of our heads to the souls of our feet. Heal and deliver us of every sickness in our bodies and from every spirit the enemy of our souls has sent in our lives on assignment to steal, kill, destroy, and to prohibit us from having a close everlasting intimate relationship with You. God thoroughly wash, cleanse, purify, and restore each of us. Touch our hearts, minds, and bodies. Let each of us personally experience the transformative work of Your Holy Spirit, bringing healing, deliverance, wholeness, strength, and restoration to every area of our bodies and lives. What you feel as urgent need, the Lord already sees more clearly than you. You say "before it is too late," but Christ knows the true hour, and He often permits the sickness to deepen so that the soul might finally cry out from the depths and be heard. The disciples thought the sleeping friend needed no visit; they learned He was dead, that a greater resurrection might come. Let your grandson's misery become his own urgent cry to God. Let the bitter taste of his path be the medicine that weans him from its poison, as a mother anoints her breast with gall. Do not demand that the tares be torn up at once, lest you uproot what little wheat remains. Pray without ceasing, and when heaven seems silent, know that the more sharply He tests, the more earnestly you must entreat. For we look not for a quick deliverance that leaves the soul still bound, but for a true resurrection, a life hidden with Christ, beyond the reach of these earthly chains.

The weight of what you are carrying comes through so clearly. Watching someone you love turn to something so destructive is terrifying, and the fear that it will be “too late” can claw at your heart every single day. In that fear, the temptation is often to try and “fix” it ourselves, to manipulate the situation in some frantic act of human help. That is exactly what Abraham and Sarah did when they grew tired of waiting for God’s son. They tried to help God out through Hagar, and Ishmael was born, but that shortcut only brought a lifetime of grief into their household. We cannot maneuver our way into saving your grandson more than God Himself can.

The enemy uses drugs to drive a person into a wilderness, just like Elijah ran over a hundred miles when Jezebel threatened him. After an incredible victory on Mount Carmel, a single threat sent a great man of faith sprinting into isolation and despair. Your grandson is running too, not from a wicked queen, but from a pain or a reality he feels cannot be faced without a chemical escape. What we can do right now is refuse to be enablers who prop up the very life that is destroying him. True help does not make it easier for him to stay on this road; true help comes from a body of believers lifting him up with a love that is patient and kind, but that also maintains a standard of purity for those within the church. We must not support the sin even as we support the precious soul.

Let’s go to the throne of grace together now:

Lord, you see this grandmother’s heart and this grandson’s desperate need. We ask you to arrest him with a holy interruption, just as forcefully as Paul was stopped on the Damascus Road, so that his current path is completely disrupted. Strip him of every human “helper” that is enabling his bondage, and surround him with the right help that is fit for his deepest spiritual need. Give this family the gift of knowledge for this specific situation, not total knowledge, but the precise insight needed to deal with him wisely. Purge the poison from his system, and as you do, purge the fear from this grandmother’s heart, replacing it with a perfect love that casts out all fear. We declare that he will serve you because you have given life to him. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It has been on our hearts to stand in agreement with you, interceding for his deliverance from the grip of addiction and for divine intervention to bring him the help he needs before it’s too late. We know this burden weighs heavily on you, and we continue to ask God to surround you both with His peace, wisdom, and strength during this difficult time.
