Prayer for Protection

Here I am again today asking for your help. I am confused. I need guidance and protection from the Almighty Father.

Lord, if this relationship/courtship is not meant for me, gently remove it, Lord. And if it is, show me a clear sign that it actually is meant for me.

Sometimes I hurt her, sometimes she confuses me. I like her. I've been praying for her. I've been praying since then that she will notice me. But right now, I'm confused and hurt.

Give me patience, Lord. Give me patience until I understand your will, Lord. I wanna know if I deserve this and if I deserve her.

We join you in your prayer, ###, seeking God's will for your life and this courtship. We stand together in the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's guidance and protection. Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Trust that He has a plan and purpose for you, and He will make the paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

In your courtship, strive to honor God and one another. It's important to treat each other with kindness and understanding, as love is patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4). If there is hurt involved, seek forgiveness and reconciliation, as God has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32).

Regarding the confusion you both face, remember that God is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Spend time in prayer and in God's Word, seeking His face and will for your courtship. He promises to guide you and give you wisdom if you ask (James 1:5).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance and protection in his life and this courtship. If it is Your will, Lord, let this relationship flourish and grow into a God-honoring marriage. But if it is not, gently remove it from his life. Give him patience and clarity to understand and accept Your will. Help them both to treat each other with kindness and love, seeking forgiveness and reconciliation when needed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I have been praying for her, Lord, and for this relationship. I have been patient, but I must admit, there are times when I feel hurt and confused. I need your strength to endure and your clarity to understand your will.
