We lift this heavy burden before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mercy and justice in your situation. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers, salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If those who persecute you do not know Christ, their hearts are hardened to the truth, and we pray fervently for their repentance and salvation, that they may turn from their ways and be reconciled to God.

Father God, we come before You with hearts grieved by the mistreatment and persecution this dear one is enduring. We rebuke the spirit of narcissism, manipulation, and evil intent in the name of Jesus. The Word declares that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that promise now. We ask for a hedge of protection around this marriage, that no scheme of the enemy, whether through gossip, public exposure, or division, would prevail. Let every evil plan be exposed and brought to nothing, and let what the enemy intended for harm be turned for good, as You promised in Genesis 50:20.

Lord, we pray for repentance in the hearts of those who seek to harm this family. Soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them to Yourself. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You deal with them justly, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). Break every ungodly soul tie that has allowed interference or discord in this marriage. Cut off every unholy connection in Jesus’ name, and restore purity and unity where the enemy has sown division.

We lift up this husband, asking for wisdom and strength as he leads his family. Father, You have called him to be a provider, and we declare that he will rise to this calling. Give him godly discernment in financial decisions, that he may steward resources wisely and trust in Your provision (Philippians 4:19). May he walk in the fullness of his role as a husband, loving his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), and may their marriage reflect Your design for unity, love, and mutual submission.

We also address the sin of mistreatment and persecution. The Bible is clear that we are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), but this does not mean we tolerate abuse or allow evil to go unchecked. We pray for justice, for the exposure of lies, and for the restoration of what has been stolen. We declare that this marriage will not be destroyed by the schemes of the enemy but will stand firm on the rock of Christ.

Heavenly Father, we ask for supernatural peace to guard this family’s hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Let them not be overcome by fear or bitterness but walk in the confidence of Your protection and love. We bind every spirit of division, strife, and accusation in Jesus’ name and loose the fruits of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, over this home (Galatians 5:22-23).

We trust You, Lord, to turn this situation around for Your glory. May this marriage not only survive but thrive, becoming a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18), and we thank You for the victory that is already won through Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. We can hear how much you love your marriage and want to see it guarded and strengthened while you are feeling pressed on by family who have been unkind to you.

One thing we have found helpful for many couples walking through family interference is to think about boundaries as a way to guard what God has entrusted to you. That can mean prayerfully deciding together what you will and will not take responsibility for, how you will speak truth in love when mistreatment happens, and where you need support from others so you are not carrying this alone. It is not about shutting people out in anger, but about preserving freedom and unity in your home so love can grow.

For the financial pressure you mentioned, it often helps to get both spiritual and practical counsel side by side. If you have a pastor or a mature couple you trust, consider inviting your husband to meet with them together, and also with someone who can offer clear, practical help with budgeting and planning. Having that team can ease the weight on both of you and give you a shared path forward.

Father, we bring this wife and her marriage to You. Cover their home with Your protection and bring deeper love and unity between them. Give her husband wisdom as he leads and provides, and give them both discernment for each decision ahead. Work in the hearts of family members who have caused hurt, drawing them toward repentance and peace, and turn what was meant for harm into good in Your way. Keep her close to You and give her rest. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your cry has been heard and we bring it before the throne of grace with you. When the soul faints within us by reason of heaviness and persecution, even as Jonah in the depths, then we remember the Lord, for He alone can keep the soul alive when we cannot keep it ourselves.

We join you in prayer for protection over your marriage. Marriage is not a thing of convenience but a holy covenant wherein a man and a woman become one flesh, cemented by mutual love and by the choice of God Himself who says, I am married unto you. We pray that the Lord will guard that oneness, that no device of man shall divide what God has joined, and that love and unity shall abound in your home.

We pray also for those who persecute and mistreat you. We do not ask God to bless unrepentant sin, but we plead that He will awaken the ungodly and bring them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We pray that every evil plan formed against your household shall be exposed and fall to the ground, and that the Lord in His sovereignty will turn what was meant for evil to your good, as He is wont to do for those who love Him.

You ask that every ungodly soul tie causing interference and discord may be broken. Know this, our soul by nature cleaves to the dust and to the evil which is in the world, and this compact is not soon broken except by the threshing hand of God. We pray that the Lord will sever every sinful entanglement and every fellowship with darkness, that your soul and the soul of your husband may cleave to Christ and be quickened by Him, and that you may be strengthened to behave worthily under trial, looking to God not only for deliverance but for grace to walk uprightly through it.

We pray for your husband, that God will grant him wisdom to make godly choices and grace to fulfill the calling of a provider for his family as the Lord has ordained. May he be led by the Word and by prayer, and may his heart be kept close to soul saving truth.

May the Lord say unto your soul, I am your salvation, not in lip language but in soul language, that you may find rest in temporal distress and know that tribulation will not last forever. We shall soon be gone to a better world where there are no threshing floors, but until then may He keep you, hide you as in His bosom till the storm of life is past, and bring home His banished ones in peace.

We will continue to pray that He who is the great Soul Winner will win and keep you both, and make your home to walk in the truth of the Gospel.
