We lift up this precious marriage and family before the throne of grace, rejoicing that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks God’s will, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that the Lord hears and answers the cries of His children.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine protection over this husband and his family. Lord, we rebuke every evil scheme of the enemy, seen and unseen, that seeks to harm, divide, or discourage this marriage. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over this family, asking that Your angels encamp around them, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. Deliver this husband from depression, Father, and lift the weight of anxiety from his shoulders. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and guide him into the right job or business that will provide stability and abundance for his family.

Lord, we pray for financial restoration and wisdom in stewardship. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:9-10, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon this family so that they lack no good thing (Malachi 3:10). Grant them wisdom to manage their resources in a way that honors You and allows them to be a blessing to others. Let their finances be a testimony of Your provision and faithfulness.

Father, we also lift up this marriage, asking that You restore intimacy, love, and unity between this husband and wife. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 that love is patient, kind, not easily angered, and always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. Lord, fill their hearts with this kind of love, Your love. Heal any brokenness, misunderstandings, or conflicts that may have crept into their relationship. Teach them to communicate with grace, respect, and humility, and to forgive one another as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). Let their home be a sanctuary of peace, joy, and Your presence, where Your Word is honored and Your name is glorified.

We declare that this marriage will be a cord of three strands, husband, wife, and You, Lord, unbreakable and strong (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Let Your love bind them together in perfect harmony (Colossians 3:14), and may their union reflect Your goodness and grace to the world. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, or temptation that seeks to pull them apart. Instead, let their love grow deeper and their intimacy stronger as they seek You together.

Lord, we also ask that You prepare their hearts for the future You have planned for them. Shape them according to Your will, and let their decisions be guided by Your wisdom. Your Word says in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We ask that You grant them wisdom in every area of their lives, finances, parenting, and their marriage, so that they may walk in Your perfect will.

Father, we thank You for the miracles You are already working in their lives. We declare that their home will be filled with Your peace, their marriage will be a testimony of Your grace, and their finances will glorify You. Let their lives reflect Your glory so that even their enemies will see Your hand at work in them. We trust in Your promises, Lord, for with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in this marriage and family, and may Your name be praised forever. Amen.

We join you in bringing your husband and marriage before the Lord, and we’re grateful you’ve trusted us to stand with you. We can hear how much you love your family and how deeply you desire God’s covering over every part of your life together. The weight of financial strain, worry over a spouse’s wellbeing, and the longing for a peaceful home are burdens we take seriously and lift with you.

Something we’ve seen help couples in similar seasons is simply carving out a few quiet moments each day to pray aloud together, even just a sentence or two before bed or while the girls nap. Instead of carrying the stress separately, you lay it before God side by side, asking for wisdom and His next step. That small, honest habit often shifts the atmosphere in a home and deepens intimacy in ways nothing else can. It doesn’t fix everything overnight, but it anchors you both in the truth that you’re not facing this alone.

Father, thank You for this wife’s faith and her fierce love for her family. Watch over her husband, guard his mind from discouragement and depression, and open the right doors for stable, honest work that meets their needs. Calm the financial stress that weighs on their home, and replace it with Your steady peace. Restore the joy and closeness in their marriage, and protect their two little daughters in every way. Let unity and wisdom grow between them as they follow Your lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your cry rises to the throne of grace, and it is a cry that has often ascended from the hearts of God’s chosen. The depression of spirit you describe, the financial strain, the desire for a peaceful and joyful union, all these are burdens that the Lord permits His children to carry for a season, but He never intends to leave them in Egypt forever. He brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and none was feeble among their tribes. So will He bring you forth from this house of bondage.

You speak of deliverance from evil and from unseen dangers. Know that the archers of discord have not prevailed, for the Lord your Husband fights for you. He who is the Husband of His people has set His special love upon you; He will be faithful when all else fails. Is not this a great comfort? Even when your husband is weary or your circumstances seem dark, the Lord Jesus is a Husband to your soul, communing lovingly and providing all that is needed.

But I hear a deeper cry: a fear that you have been cast aside, that your marriage has suffered too great a fall. Oh, hear this: the Lord restores. Look at Peter! One look from Christ sent him out to weep bitterly, but that same look drew him back. A cock crowing and a glance from the Master, such small things become the means of restoration. Does your husband’s spirit sink? Is your union strained? Jesus your own brother, your husband, your head, your all, can He forget? Down, blaspheming thought! He knows how to deliver from the pit, for He has found a ransom. There is a way of deliverance that God has invented, and it is a gift of free grace. None can take the honor of deliverance to themselves; it must be of Him alone.

You long for a peaceful and joyful union, a cord of three strands not quickly broken. Then let the Lord be the center. When the heart wanders, it is a grievous offense, but He calls you back: “Come back, and it shall be unto you as though I had not cast you aside.” Perfect restoration! Not just a patching up, but a making new. He does not merely smooth the surface; He heals the breach.

And for your husband’s work and your family’s provision? The Lord, as a Husband unto His Church, does endow her with all His goods. He will supply every need according to His riches in glory. You may be at Jabbok, full of fear and trembling, but you will cross and meet your Esau, and he will fall on your neck. The deliverance will come, not when you see a way, but when the Lamb is slain. Look to the cross; there is the ransom.

In your present distress, do not doubt. The clock of mercy will strike the hour of your deliverance, for the time is decreed. And when it comes, what then? You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. You will have a story to tell of His faithfulness, and your daughters will hear it. Let this trial be the school where you learn to sing the song of deliverance, a stanza of praise for every sorrow turned to joy.

Therefore, rest in this: He has delivered us from so great a death, and He does deliver, in whom we trust that He will yet deliver. Cry to Him, and then stand still and see His salvation. He will make your marriage a testimony and your home a place of peace. For with God all things are possible, all things are possible to him that believeth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The peace you seek for your marriage is a good thing, for peace is the mother of all good and the foundation of joy. But know that the kingdom of God is not food and drink, nor a steady income or financial ease, it is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you quarrel over money or let anxiety about provision fill your heart, you will subvert the very peace you long for, even if your table is full.

You pray for protection from evil and for deliverance from depression. That is wise, for the present life is a sleep, and the things in it are no different from dreams. But do not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. It is not wrong to seek a stable job or to provide for your household; marriage itself is honorable and pure. Yet when you pursue wealth beyond necessity, when you lay up treasure to indulge in luxury, you are lighting a flame that will consume your peace. The days of Noah were filled with eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the flood came and took them all away. Do not let your heart grow insensible through the cares of this life.

That your marriage would be joyful and intimate is a desire God honors, but the rejoicing must be for something profitable. An adulterer rejoices in his sin, a thief in his gain, their joy is shame. True joy springs from a life of virtue, from charity and unity. The peace Christ gives is not the world’s peace; it is a peace that comes after the Cross, when every hindrance to love has been put away. If you would have this peace, you must first be reconciled to one another in humility, forgiving as you have been forgiven. Let no root of misunderstanding remain, but bind yourselves together with patience and kindness. As it is written, a cord of three strands is not quickly broken, but the third strand is Christ Himself, who holds the marriage together when both hearts are yielded to Him.

You ask for wisdom to get wealth so you may bless your children. Yet the wisdom that builds a house is not shrewdness in business alone; it is the fear of the Lord. Make not your goal the accumulation of riches, for they sprout wings and fly away. Rather, be content with what meets your needs, and spend your energy on the care of your souls. The widow who is truly devoted to God does not merely avoid a second marriage, she gives herself to every good work and perseveres in prayer. So too, the married woman must not be consumed by domestic concerns to the neglect of spiritual things. If you use your leisure not to serve the saints and strangers but only to pursue more comfort, you have missed the purpose of your calling.

God’s divine hand will be upon your marriage when you seek His will above your own. He does not always give what we demand, but He gives what is best for our salvation. Your prayer for protection from unseen dangers and family evil is heard, but remember that the greatest danger is the unseen corrosion of sin within. The demon of discord delights in dividing husbands and wives through small offenses; the peacemaker is a child of God, but the one who stirs up strife is the devil’s own. So let your words be seasoned with grace, and let your home be a place where the angels of peace dwell, not the spirits of contention.

Do not mistake silence or delay on God’s part for indifference. He knows our needs before we ask, but He waits for the soil of our hearts to be ready. The financial losses you grieve may be the very tools He uses to teach you reliance on Him rather than on uncertain riches. The restoration you cry for may come not in the form of more money but in a deeper bond of love forged through adversity. When a husband and wife cling to one another in hard times, their intimacy is strengthened more than in seasons of ease. So do not despise the tribulation, but ask for grace to endure it together.

Above all, let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. When you rise from prayer, carry that peace with you as a lamp into every dispute and every worry. Say to your husband what the Lord said to His disciples: “Peace be unto you.” Speak it not as a mere word but as a blessing that flows from a heart reconciled to God. Then your union will not be quickly broken, and even those who watch from outside will see the beauty of the Lord upon your household. The world looks for perfect circumstances to be happy, but the children of God find joy in the midst of trials because their treasure is in heaven.

You are not alone in your battles; the Lord fights for you if you will be still and trust Him. But do not be like those who speak of peace and safety while living in self-indulgence. Rather, be sober in all things, watchful in prayer, and diligent in love. Then the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly, and your marriage will be a testimony not to your own wisdom but to His grace.

The heart of a peaceful, joyful marriage is simpler than we often make it. You have poured out many requests before the Lord, and He hears every one. Yet Scripture gives both of you just one primary rule each, so simple you will not forget it. For you as the wife: submit yourself to your own husband as unto the Lord. For him as the husband: love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. Every marital problem, every conflict, every cold silence, and every financial strain that breeds uneasiness stems from breaking or neglecting these two commands.

When you pray for protection over your husband from depression, from unseen danger, and from family evil, understand that one of your greatest protections is living within God’s order. A wife finds it next to impossible to submit unquestionably to a husband unless she is deeply assured that he loves her supremely. That is the need God wove into your heart: the security of being cherished, of knowing no one else attracts his eye, that you are his queen. When he feels the weight of that command to love sacrificially, he becomes the responsible, gentle leader you long for. And your husband has a need woven into him as well: the need to know he is truly the head of the home, that he is respected. Your submission, given freely as to the Lord, meets that need. It does not make you a doormat; it makes you his helper in a way that draws out his love and provision.

You asked God to be the center of your union, like the third strand in a cord not quickly broken. That strand is the Lord Jesus Christ. The way you bind yourselves to Him is by obeying His simple rules. The more your husband shows his love, the easier you will find it to submit. The more you submit, the easier he will find it to love you generously. It becomes a beautiful cycle where brokenness is replaced by restoration, not because you strive and argue, but because you each focus on your one rule.

You have prayed for financial stability and a right job. A man who feels honored as the head of his home, and who knows his wife trusts him, is strengthened to provide. Stress and uneasiness often melt away when he knows, even if he makes mistakes or loses everything, that his wife is still with him, still respecting him. You are heirs together of the grace of life, and your prayers will not be hindered when you walk in this order.

Guard your intimacy. Do not withhold yourselves from one another, except by mutual consent for a brief season. Your bodies belong to each other. That physical unity is a gift that reinforces the bond you are asking God to restore. As you live a pure, reverent life before him, your chaste manner of living speaks louder than many words.

Pray for your husband’s protection, yes. But do not let anxiety push you into striving against him. If something he asks violates your conscience before God, you are not required to submit to that, for a truly loving husband would not force you there. But in all things that honor the Lord, let your willing respect and his tender love be the testimony your two young daughters see. Your home will reflect God’s glory not through a perfect income or a flawless house, but through a wife who honors her husband and a husband who cherishes his wife.

You declared that your union will be peaceful and joyful. Stand on that. God’s purposes will stand. Walk in the two rules He gave you, and watch Him do great things.
